no high low beam comparisons (struggled to get a good picture. But here is a comparison of the LED vs Halogen (both low beams, I have a really steep driveway).
That looks good...I dont see any spottiness in the low beam...curious how the high beam is...I may order these and return my beamtechs.

Has anyone needed the decoders/filters for the fogs? or have they only been needed for headlights?

I'll see if I can get a picture, it wont be comparing to the halogens though. I will say is they are ten times better than the Halogens in actual use.

Update on 2020 STX LED comparison for budget lights:
In general...I think the 2020+ halogen reflector housings are terrible....but I made it much better then stock halogens.

Beamtech 10k lumen
Techmax mini 10k lumen
Hikari Ultra LED 12k lumen

I did 2 different days of multiple combinations, aligned the LED in several orientations (top and bottom)...and made sure the LED diodes in correct forward/backward position. Here was my finding on the 2020 Reflector head light.

The beamtech had a very good hot spot but the flood beam and coverage was spotty, and the high beam was the worse of the 3. Plus FM radio is almost useless with the beamtechs being used.

Next was the techmax mini...better coverage, not as spotty, better high beam hot spot then the beamtech version. Temperature wise this light seemed to get very warm..but worked, and no issue with FM radio reception. Overall a little better then the beamtech light.

Next was the Hikaru Ultra 12k lumen version.
Hikari version I purchased Hikari version I purchased
. First impression these feel much more quality then the beamtech and the Techmax. They have the driver that is seperated from the LED housing. I didnt like how they clipped to OEM wire harness...you really had to push them on hard to get harness to latch. Low beam pattern was more white then the beamtech(less blue)..a slightly smaller hot spot, but drastically larger coverage area...and flood area was much better. The fan also seemed a little quieter then the other two. Regardling LED alignment...the alignment design on how you can adjust this LED is awesome...so easy to dial in. High beam was also more coverage. Also No FM interference issue. I returned the Beamtechs, and The Techmax...I really wanted those to work as they were lower priced, but I couldn't after seeing performance of the LED bulbs on the Hikaris. Im going to give these a go and see how they do. Will keep everyone posted.

I also tried a Hikari lower bulb combo with a Techmax upper bulb...that seemed ok too...just not as good of a high beam as the dual Hikari setup

In general I think the reflector housing on the 2020 super duty is horrible and I dont think you can get a top notch beam pattern. I think a high end LED bulb like head light revolution, Diode dynamics will not give you a noticeable improvement in light coverage vs a amazon option. I spent the money on HD LEDs for our Expedition due to it having a projector housing...and the LEDs are awesome in it (SV4s). Couldnt justify for this truck.

Wow, thanks for the review/comparison. Will continue to watch my techmax and if I have issues will be going to the hikari.

Thanks for the legwork, sounds great. Let us know how they hold up over time. Do you think the 20 housings are worse than the 19 or the same?

no problem...after a few trucks coming with factory LED lights it has spoiled me...I had to upgrade from stock halogens. I have no comparison on a 19 vs a 20 to say if there is a difference. If there was a way to add projector lens into the factory reflector housing you could make about any LED bulb look good.

Just do it !!

Well after reading quite a bit on here about swapping the bulbs I got a set Hikari leds. I’ve got a 2017 F-350 and the bulbs that barry1me linked at amazon are freakin legit. I’ve only had them in for 2 days now but I’d say get em for sure.

I only got 2 when I ordered them because I wanted to see how they’d be but the day after I put em in and got to test drive my truck at night I ordered the other two. They went in easy, no flickering, no FM interference, better illumination to the sides and they of course look cool.

I know it’s been a very small test sample but I’m really pleased and for 90 bucks per set they’re decently priced.

The only question I do have is if anyone knows what height the beam should be at? The first morning I went to the gym I think I was brighted 4 times and it doesn’t really bother me but I also don’t want to be that guy that blinds the crap out of people. I just want to make sure my headlight housing is adjusted where it should be.

So thanks to everyone who’s posted so far these LEDs are awesome.

I believe the headlight adjustment procedure is in the manual.

I pulled mine up to app 15' of my garage door and adjusted both sides down app 1" for starters. I carried the torx bit set with me and continued to adjust each side down by a 1/2 turn until I was no longer being high beamed. It took 3 or 4 more downward adjustments to accomplish that.

Glad it worked out for you too man! Ya much better then the auxbeam I tried on my 2020 F350...In general I think the 2020 housing is really bad for a perfect beam pattern but its much better then stock. It would be cool to figure out how to add a projector housing inside the stock housing for low beam at some point.

My current plan is to go with barry1me's recommendation of the Hikari's. However I just had this video pop up. Unexplored alternative or random sponsored shill? Also what about the fog lights - same bulb?

I watched that video also and TFL is very honest. The 150leds is the way I am leaning for the heads, fogs and inside lighting. There light bar looked a tad pricy but you do normally get what you pay for.

I noticed Amazon has these Hikari H13s on sale for about $60 now and thinking about giving them a try. I read several reviews that said they only last a year or so, how have yours been holding up? Would you still recommend?
