It would be nice if something... anything lasted that long these days.

Just dropped $600 on a Ryobi inverter generator. It got 4.8 stars out of 1270 reviews, but I doubt it will last as long as your phone.

It's been a minute since I've been on here with this life altering virus spreading among us. So heres some random stuff.
Jack, there was a case in Atlantic County a week ago. AC hospital had a walk in with all the symptoms but would not stay. The person left and 4 days later walks in Mainland hospital more I'll and checked in. After testing results they were positive. That was just one case of 2 they had down here but never reported it because it was not confirmed until recently. There are also 2 in Cumberland Co. but still has not been reported by the hospitals. Quite frankly they were not prepared and don't have the room for a large influx.
For the guns & ammo. Last Tuesday I visited 4 gun shops. The owners said it's been nuts. One shop sold every case of 9mm & 5.56 & 223 ammo they had. They tried to order more and were laughed at. 15 to 30 AR's were sold at each shop in a single day. They don't understand it anymore than most.
For anyone that gives a hoot, still lovin the RAM. 14.8 mpg consistently, compared to 11.5 on a good day with the 6.0. Only complaint is the 32 gallon tank but that is remedied with the addition of the 91 gallon aux tank in the bed, the one I had in my Ford.
And one last comment. All these closings even though advertised and clearly posted CLOSED, dummies insist on grabbing the door handle and checking anyways. Congratulations for grabbing the same germ infested door handle that the last people grabbed.
That's all I got for now. Take care all.

NJ.com keeps a good update if you want to look, Pete. Not perfect though.

And I think NJ is way under-reported based on the death count.

My brother reminded me about a wierd sickness him his wife and a few others got in January. Mild Soar throat, high fever and he ended up with bronchitis, his wife upper respiratory and her sister pnuemonia. They all came out fine but they thought then it was a strange sick that wasn't like the flu they had had prior years. Makes me wonder if this has been circulating longer than any of us knew.

Just a thought for you to think on if you’re into conspiracies. President Trump said that our military
did not give the virus to China. He also didn’t say
the China didn’t steal it from our military.

I know so that’s going far out on the limb but
I thought I just throw that at you.

Just like the cold and flu it has many strains with different issues. Don’t forget the flu is no slouch in the death department. All we can do is wait it out and keep our cool.
A tip (girlfriend, ex wife, sister and many close friends are doctors and RNs)...a with the cold and flu virus, CV thrives in cooler environments and the coldest area of your body are your sinus cavities due to breathing. 133 degrees farenheit and the virus dies. Breathe in steam from a hot shower or boiling pot of water for five minutes twice a day and the there is almost certain death for the virus. You can do the same with a hair dryer, breathe the hot air as you spray your mouth and nose with a mist bottle of water to keep your skin cool and breathe deeply for five minutes twice a day. It is not spread by door ***** unless you touch it and then touch your nose and breathe it, it’s a respiratory illness. Avoid breathing on people and keep your hands away from your face unless they are freshly washed. Virus does not cause disease unless you are a bacteria.
Lastly, don’t buy into the media hype and don’t spread the lies and propaganda that only entice false fear in people. It’s not good for society and spreads like wild fire. Stay well my friends. I will be out here in the country with my chickens and going to work until they tell me to stop coming. The oilfield does not take sick days!

None of that really matters right now, once we get over the hump and pull out of this mess then we can investigate and blame people. I think it’s a biological weapon that accidentally got released and our government are taking full advantage of the situation. There could be a million scenarios but none of them save lives. My mother is 70, I protect her and my 5 year old som with my life. If the crazies start showing up I shoot and start piling them up at the gate. Fair warning for the next.

I truly hope it doesn't come to that. But it's good you're prepared!

My wife had really bad diarrhea last November and again in January, both sides of getting her hip replaced. I do think there is the possibility that it could have been around since the fall. The only way you might know is if/when everyone could get tested for having had the disease.

This country can only do a time out for maybe two weeks, and even with that some small business is going to go down. The margins aren't there. SBA loans aren't going to qualify everyone and the process will take too long. The cure may be worse than the fatality. If Gov't wanted to do something, pay all existing utility bills right now, electric, gas, water, sewer, for personal and business. That would keep some money in accounts, plus maybe the first people payments.

If you want to go conspiracy, China's good buddy Russia opened oil spigots at an interesting time.
Yah. All the money they're talking about spending to help out and that doesn't even include the trillions lost due to the tanking of our economy. Seems like they could just spend that money on respirators, trainers and delivery people. Tell everyone who cares to stay home if they want and if they get sick we got the respirators. Let the rest or society continue on. But I'm sure it's not nearly that easy.

Yah timing of oil prices suspect. Timing of so much is suspect. The left all knows the only thing that would get trump out of the office was for the economy to tank and now here we are. I can't decide if this is all some big conspiracy but it's crystal clear they're taking advantage of the crisis.

We have no solid information yet if environmental temps have an impact. In Australia people are getting it.

The don’t touch your face is paramount, and we would do more good wearing disposable gloves in public areas then masks.

This is my writing, not copy and paste from some propaganda network or social media...

You can get the flu or a cold year round, this is a cold. More prevalent during cooler months but never goes away. The virus is real but not as bad as people are being led to believe. I am much more concerned about the economy. I’m not saying I don’t care about people but if you want to look at death statistics you might be surprised at the high numbers of other causes of death. Synthetic pharmaceuticals should be considered the true pandemic but it seems like everyone is accepting a doctor’s word for it when they write you a prescription for anti depressants for no reason. I have not taken anything but ibuprofen and Standard Process herbal supplements for almost three years and couldn’t feel better. God put everything man needs right here on earth in the form of plants and minerals, there was no need to synthesize a bunch of chemical concoctions to remedy issues that could be eliminated with herbal and mineral supplements. Instead these synthetic drugs have a hundred side effects that are mitigated by yet more synthetic drugs...before you know it you’re taking a hand full of **** that is killing you and making you feel worse than if you took none of it at all! Don’t even get me started on cancer...my cousin died of ovarian cancer last year and her mother has liver cancer. Neither drink or smoke...doctors insist on chemotherapy that does nothing more than make your hair fall out and kill you just the same but the difference is they get PAID for their special cures...when all along the Gerson Method and Cannabis Extracts could have been the true cure with no ill effects like chemo. Last year somewhere around 383,000 people died due to medical malpractice but no one sees that as a pandemic.
Biological weapon or not, this is a power grab, you better wake up and believe that NO CRISIS GOES TO WASTE. Especially when there is an agenda to push.
