Anyone else find it interesting the run on guns and ammo across the country? Is this something else I need besides cash in small bills?!

No better poll of the level of trust people have in the governmental legal system.

It would be safer to do credit card. There is very little right now I’d do with cash exchange.
Supposedly us plebes will be able to leave the house to procure essentials.

It's just smart planning to have cash on hand in times of uncertainty, silver isn't a bad idea either. If you are so worried about getting a virus from cash, you can always disinfect it when you leave the bank, and tip everyone so they don't have to give you cash back. I know being prepared is a pain. Just offering suggestions. You can take it or leave it.

If you don't have guns and ammo already you're probably too late anyway.

I don't disagree with you, Chris. I have my pot. My tree sales are all cash or checks as I don't like to feed the plastic monster. But right now as I've been going to stores I push the credit card in the machine and I take it back out. Most times I don't have to sign the tablet. No one is touching the card but me. The bills, I don't know where they have been or how stupid someone wants to be, aka ice cream tubs in the stores. And I don't use up my soap or sanitizer. It's just about reducing the potential.

When I trained new test drivers, and in the driving classes we used to attend every two years, on the road is about reducing the potentials. What lane your in, the speed, the approach in traffic to some fool. In this situation I've adopted the same philosophy, my wife is not there yet. Two weeks of food rather than one, potential by half. Go over the list twice so you don't forget anything. Maybe it will matter, maybe not.

Yah but my 2. Nines are in accessible positions one in my truck, one of them in my home. You don't know what other people are thinking and or going to want to do. Better safe than sorry.
p.s. my 1st nine doesn't stay in truck overnight.

No need to push buttons or select options, like what kind of receipt you want?

And you're also sticking that card in a slot where other, possibly infected cards have been. Gotta be careful where you stick that thing. At least that's what my momma told me.

Not at our Wagmens or Walmart, it just pints. At my pharmacy (I go there every 3 months) yes you have to sign and click, and I told them the other day they need to change. I can get my drugs mail delivery instead, in fact, Medicare wants me to.

What I didn't bring up as I figured that would flip you totally out was I use Apple Pay where I can. Just me and my cell phone.

Good thing you mentioned that. I was going to send my 60-year-old sister over to break into your truck. Probably just saved her from getting coronavirus from those crazy spring-breakers on the way over.

At least your old iPhone isn't running 5G. I might have had to seriously wigg-out on you in that case.

Well California is now state wide stay at home OC courts are shut down. So not allowed to leave house. If get harassed and put in jail your gonna rot there as no due process no courts to set bail nothing. Brothers bank for his business , US Bank ,t told his manager today that they're preparing to close all of their banks. Wasn't specific if that meant branches or more? Hearing of people trying to buy guns but that 10 day waiting period is really a bummer now. Newsom essentially threatened martial law last night but doesn't see the need " yet". Wish the whole world wasn't taking a big poop feel like the bug out plan isn't really viable. Gonna have to stay put and ride it out. All the supplies, and stuff for the fam and kids are here.

Good luck to all you guys and thanks for all the help over the years. gonna be a rough road and our freedom and liberties are not gonna be the same after this gets done. Not sure what that looks like but certainly life as we know it is gone....
