Well, looks like sister in London has it now, she's self-isolated at home, probably the safest place to be if it doesn't get worse.
Panic-buying in Germany too now, but the shops still seem to be coping with overnight deliveries bringing cans, pasta, flour and rice.
We are doing the panic buying. Fights in stores over toilet paper. One channel (Fox) is starting to interview people who have had the disease and came through with mild cases, which hopefully provide calm.
We are getting too hyper about not having the tests. If you have the flu or have 19 it’s no different. If you don’t have an issue breathing, stay at home, isolate, recover. If you are having breathing problems, get care and let the ER make the call. It’s not going to matter the reason.
Go outside and get fresh air, best cure for everything. Work in the garage, open the door, cut the grass, stain the porch, mulch the gardens, go for a hike just do something.

The UV in sunlight can also kill the little nasties along with other viruses and bacterias.
This is Nature's cleansing disease because the Government isn't competent enough to come up with it on its own.
Who's at risk.
Over 65
Overweight
High blood pressure
Diabetic
COPD
Sleep Apnea
People without conditions and younger than 40 get a mild fever.
I score 6 out of 6, a perfect score. I need a stocked bunker, forget the toilet paper.
This disease may correct the majority of the issues with running out of money for Medicare, Social Security, elder care, all the issues confronting the future. We have 160,000 ventilators and 60,000 socked away with FEMA for emergencies from what I heard last night.
While I think I'm secure in saying a homeless guy on the streets of the west coast probably didn't just come back from a trip to China or Italy, and not even a cruse, that population will be fuel to the fire if when it hits there.
Slowing the progression of this disease is important for two reasons. One as many have stated, not to overwhelm the resources. And the other it seems that there is a peaking of any disease making the rounds, initially, it gets stronger, then it trails off.
So many seem to be concerned about having a test so you know if you have it or not. We worry about the wrong thing. If you are ill but without a breathing problem, stay at home just like having the flu. It may just be the flu or something else. Consult your doctor. If you are having a breathing issue, go to the hospital as you would for any similar cause, flu, pneumonia, or this. There's no vaccine or anti-viral for this yet, no magic bullet.
I'm sure Joy Behar will be overwhelming the labs getting tests every day. "Do I have it yet ......." Maybe testing twice a day.
Well I can't find any thing about it but the Puyallup Tractor Supply is closed temporarily.
At least that is what the sign on the door said. It also directed you to the Spanaway store.
I asked if someone had gotten sick. The clerk did not know but said that they were told that
they would be servicing more customers coming from Puyallup.
I heard last night that they tried to self-quarantine a homeless person in a hotel in Seattle. The next morning the person got up, walked across the street to a 7-11, shop-lifted, got on a public bus for a free ride and went back to their location. That's going to work out well if it's true.
My wife is back at her salon for a week now after hip surgery so she can recover funds lost. Normally she would be fully booked on a Saturday. No one .......
If I hear back about that Tractor Supply I will let you know.
At work we have a policy in place that if your out sick you must have a return to work note from your Doctor.
Also if you seem sick your supervisor can send you out. I made sure to let mine know I suffer from pollen
and get sniffles from it.
No milk, eggs, bread, pasta, soups (none you would want), chicken, not dogs, little cereal, little meat, absolutely no paper products. Got the last three boxes of Taylor Ham (an NJ staple) and apparently no one likes corned beef (SCORED!!!!). If there was bulk packaging of anything, ITS GONE! No problem with fruits and vegetables, so vegetarians will be happy. Shopping will be easier in the coming weeks as everyone feeds off their harvest.

Funny - just got an email from Tractor Supply CEO saying they are keeping all their stores open and fully stocked and staffed, to help all of us loyal customers get through this... Now where is the veggie aisle...?!
This morning a women in her 50’s passed 20 minutes from here, the second in the state. The news is starting to track cases by county, and non-contact cases are showing up. Our son pulled our granddaughter out of college in PA the other day, last night the school was closing and all students are to be gone today. That should be a zoo.
Our daughter is in DC right now getting her son and daughter out of Georgetown and George Washington U’s this morning. There’s some discussion they will closed down for the remaining semester.
The mayor of Teaneck is telling the entire town to hunker down as they have the highest confirmed numbers so far. When I went to the market earlier the roads were light for the typical Sunday.
One of our granddaughters is in the admin of Atlanticare hospital network, and her brother works in supply distribution. They are rationing supplies to the different departments. Everyone is getting hyper.
Things are ramping up in Canada as well. They just announced two cases not 5 miles from us in a small town. My wife went on her weekly Thursday grocery run and said it was completely crazy. People grabbing what they could, arguing over parking spots etc. If everyone would just take a step back,CALM DOWN and use some common sense we could all get thru this a lot easier. People are also now wanting to get checked which is going to place a strain on test kits too.
