I got the file from that German website but my radio does not start with the update, maybe need new usb drive, or I am not doing it right I did it putting the folder on drive and nothing, and I tried putting files from folder on root of drive and nothing too.

Yeah when I posted v2.2 I provided the info for everyone to do but some don’t want to share the knowledge, oh well, when I figure it out I will post the steps so we can install it.

The official V3 is now available from the Ford owner's site. The problem is, if you updated to the previous V3 beta version, your truck won't accept the new official version. About a minute into the install it will tell you that your system is already updated. It would appear from some research that there is a version checker in the official releases from version 2.3 forward. So, the installer is checking the current version not the current build. If it sees you already have any build of V3, you can not install a later one. Now the question is... do I try and downgrade to version 2.2 and then re-try the official 3 V3 update or just wait it out for the next version... Hmmm.....

This issue was resolved by SoylentSaxgod in the thread linked below (Post #81). I had the same issue and this worked perfectly.

I'm tempted to try it to see if it'll cure my "default to FM" audio system, and the persistent pop up asking if I want to connect to Wifi.
Do the text edits work on a non-nav system? I believe someone also asked that on the other discussion thread, but I don't recall a confirmation.
I'm worried about making it worse than it is.
I have the unofficial V3 and it works fine except for the two snags I mention in my opening sentence.
