I saw no notable issues today while using the new update. The menus respond faster to the touch, and seeking through the channels is faster as well. I already did the heated steering wheel modification in forscan before the sync update, so I can't comment on whether or not the heated steering wheel icon comes up on the homepage now with this update by default. I'll keep testing this week and let you know if I see any issues. It is not asking me to connect to my wifi repeatedly, so I don't think that bug is present anymore. Making and receiving Bluetooth phone calls works just fine, but I didn't have a chance to test out any of the voice commands yet.
Did the latest 3.0 update from 2.2. Went smooth, but took a while 20 min or so. Works better and responds faster. Mine still randomly switches to AM on startup. Annoying. Haven't had the connect to WiFi issue, but did look for updates right after install.
Texmudder - Connect to a wifi and tell it to scan for updates, and it will stop prompting everytime you startup.
Is there any trick to doing this? Mine is connected to WiFi and I click "yes" when it does the WiFi prompt, but nothing happens. Is there some manual way to go in and tell it to scan for updates?
Here's the first bug I see, and I think it was reported in an earlier release too: when you have the radio on to Sirius and shut the truck off without turning the radio off first, when you restart the truck the radio switches to the FM band instead of Sirius. Doesn't occur of course if you shut the radio off prior to shutting the truck off, but is a bug nonetheless.

Loading the latest release of Sync 3.0 didn't fix that bug for me. However I can work around it on my Lariat with the old fashioned key start. I just turn on the ignition, listen for Sirius to start playing, then turn the key the rest of the way to start the engine. It takes a few seconds for the audio to play again, but when it does it's playing my Sirius station.
I guess if you have keyless start you'd push the START button with your foot off the brake to turn on just the ignition, then push it again with the brake pedal depressed to start the engine. Bit of a pain in the @ss.
Lol yeah I have the pushbutton start and it's enough for me to remember to press the brake before the button, so reversing that now would cause an embolism. Can't teach an old dog new tricks, or something like that lol!
I'm in the same boat. I think about turning off the stereo as I'm pulling into a parking spot, then have forgotten 10 seconds later when I shut the truck down!
