The warm days we had, the sunshine and my shovel got rid of a fair chunk of the old snow so theres lots of room to stack up the new snow that's been coming down the last couple of hours. I'm a bit like Noah as I make it a point to prepare for the deluge that's about to come. Don't know if this will make it's way out to you Morris but if it does you'll have some thick heavy snow to move this weekend.
We're sending Nebraska our bitumin already so we'll have to send the snow somewhere else, Hudson bay area looks like its available and so is northern Minnesota.
Has the snow started there yet Perry? Nothing but a very chilly south east wind here, according to our forecast we might get a few scattered flurries on Sat.
Nebraska probably doesn`t want either John.
I wouldn`t mind some of that for spring moisture tho today I finally got most of my main areas cleared of the snow banks in my yard. If more snow does come before spring happens I won`t complain too loudly.
I got rid of the snow bank near the back door so that the patio wouldn't flood up and knocked down parts of the banks in the front yard . That keeps the green spots covered and the sidewalk dry and lowers the snow banks.
It`s been very cloudy here all day but no wind so it was quite John. It sounds like we`re in for another 2 days or so more before the sun comes back.
This morning as I was in a hurry to get to town one of the wheels on my over head door decided to break, I had spares on hand so that made it an easy fix this afternoon.
Well I got two thirds of the carpet up in our living room today, should finish that room tomorrow. Moving furniture and ripping up carpet is a pain in the *** but almost there. Should be ready for when the new flooring arrives..
