Sure is nice having the living room empty of stuff that belonged in the shop, cats enjoy the extra floor space also.
Tomorrow its time to start on getting this electrical system upgraded, one of my neighbors knows my landlord and has done work for them so I'll ask about the best approach to use on the landlord and maybe I'll have something happening by months end. Will need a permit and the city will disconnect my old line and hook it up afterwards, I just don't want to be paying $3500 to upgrade someone elses house.
Don't know how much gas is out here.

There's 5 circuits of fluorescent lights for a total of 15 light cans, each circuit on a light switch and 4 220v 50 amp circuits plus 2 outside yard lights with sensors to put in. Then there's 1 20 amp circuit of 4 plug in sockets and 1 20 amp circuit of 6 plug in sockets, that's the part I get to do. I also need to do some tree trimming to get the main feed into the house.

Rather than fluorescent lights go for LED`s, I converted both my shops to these and the difference in nice bright white light is incredible not to mention a lot less power used.

I hear on the budget thing. They aren`t expensive as I picked mine up for $30, 4 footers on sale at Peavey Mart. Since they throw a lot of light you won`t need many.

No Peavymart within 50 miles of here, James goes to Costco and has his eyes open for the 4' so far the cheapest has been $58 for a 2 bulb can plus bulbs. John was saying that there's a bulb that's a direct replacement, just have to bypass the ballast .
