Martensville is just north of Saskatoon on a nice two lane highway and I`m about 15 minutes east of Saskatoon. So far the forecast sounds good, -10°C and sunny on Saturday. In the mean time I hunt around in the mini snow banks for that 4 sp transmission if you still need it Perry.
That would be nice Morris, there's a car version 4sp on kijiji but the car type is a side shift and won't work in a truck. We're still up in the air if we leave on Friday or Saturday as it depends on the route James gets and if he has to spot trailers.
My foggy old memory says it`s still here and a rough idea of where it might be Perry. I`ll have look for it tomorrow or the next day. Either day should work for me, I don`t have any plans to go anywhere.
If my cats don't wake up soon I won't be going anywhere soon. I've become their heated mattress this year, this new place has changed them quite a bit. I've come across these transmissions here in town but they're either only good for parts or cost as much as the whole truck. Most times the bellhousing has pieces of bolt hole missing or the starter area is cracked.
Good Morning Shaun, we`re off to town this morning. how are you doing?
You need to get a heated blanket for your cats to help them settle in Perry.
I always thought that those bell housings were pretty hardy and didn`t crack very easily.
If it goes fast there will be a flood like in my back yard last spring. We certainly didn`t have a lot of snow that winter but the real warm weather came very quickly.
That's no place to be parking those pickups Morris...
Normally they are really strong but after a couple of clutch changes where the person has beat on it with a hammer there gets to be damage at the dowel pin holes and around the starter. A few people don't realize until its to late that the cross member between the radius arms needs to come out on the gen 6 truck in order to get the bell housing out.
-17 and its a run around day for me, might be a bit nippy.

Luckily no trucks were parked in that low area John, only a T-Bird and another car slated for crushing. Last fall I made sure to to move everything out of there, it`s been many yrs since any water accumulated there. A fast thaw is what made that happen.
Hello Grant, hope your day went smoothly.
Hello Perry, that would be some hack job to damage the dowel pin hole area and around the starter. I gently get everything back together, if it doesn`t I check way.
Cold here today too, the wind really made it chilly.
One of my stray out door cat must be at least 20 pounds, he`s one very healthy black cat!
We're from that part of Canada Morris that looks after the things we own, out here theres to many that are to drunk to care or make more money than they're worth, so when things get buggered they buy a new one through the bank.
You must have lots of wild life for the cat to fatten up on, Sally looks like 15 pounds but its all fur.
