Got my compressor today and unloaded it, garage sure is jammed up with equipment and is nearly impossible to walk through some parts of it. Tomorrow is start to build the wood stove day and I hope to have most of it done by Tuesday and can rig it up in the shop on Wednesday. Wednesday is auction day and there might be a second half to this estate that had all the stuff that I bought last week. As soon as the stove is in and set up then I won't be restricted by the temperature change in the shop and I can get back to putting in a proper amount of hours into this place and then things will start getting done around here.
Made the mistake of trenching the curb to the storm drain as no one on this side of the street has tried to do it, I don't like walking through a pond or slipping on ice when I walk down the sidewalk and its a pita when the tires are frozen to the street. Got into 2 beefs because I was trenching the ice, both of them with drunk white boys, one at 430 and the 2nd about an hour later, the 2nd one stood in his doorway threatening to kill me because I dug a trench from the street drain and was at about the 200' mark.
Thought you lived in a better part of the neighborhood now..?
Good morning folks
Sun came up, snows melting and the days are warmer and longer
The tank Morris is a 80 gallon Ingersol Rand, the pump is a Curtis that's being run just above it's mininum speed, the motor is a 3 hp Baldor, 220 v and it'll be getting a bigger pulley to run the compressor faster.
It's a better area John but there's 3 drinkers that live on this side of the street and 2 of them seem to hate everyone that's not drunk like them, the guy next door is a drunk but his wife keeps him in line.
There is so much to do around here that it's hard to set a starting point, other than to say there's lots to do.
Good day folks. I love the longer days, makes me think spring finally getting closer.
Sounds like a rough neighbor hood Perry. That`s a good sized compressor, sounds like the Lincoln compressor I have.
How are you doing Shaun, getting any more rain?
Is your brother back yet Grant?
Is snow melting in your parts John?
Hello Ian, are you still under the weather?
No rain right now Morris. Could really do with out it at the moment. Still have to replace part of the roof from the windstorm. Lost some shingles from the kitchen roof. Then again they are 30 years old and due for replacement. I also need to replace my dining room floor after some repair work.
My poor old barn looses shingles everything time there`s strong winds Shaun, it really should have a metal roof.
What are you putting on your dining room floor? We went with lino and laminate flooring in the rest of our house.

Hi Morris, not as sick as the previous 5 days, but not well either.
See the doc tomorrow.

I hate seeing the old barns disappearing from neglect, it would cost a small fortune to build one these days. Cheaper to maintain..
Get well soon Ian. Is it flu like? Lot of that around here. My wife, and youngest son seem to not be able to fully recover. Good for a week, then sick again. Take care.
