My new 600+ lb toy, I need to stand a\on the back of the hoist to counter balance it and every time I pump up the hoist the hoist tips forwards and I need to lean back in order to get the rear wheels back on the ground. It took 4 big guys to unload it off a pickup truck onto a 4 wheel moving dolley.
You need a different type of hoist in the back of your truck Perry. Stake pocket and swivel ...
Good day everyone.
Finally a day above freezing and things are melting!
Moving a 600 lb toy is a job for a Bobcat Perry, those 4 guys that unloaded it must be something else!
Hello Shaun, how`s your day at working going?
Hello John and Grant, is the weather nice your way too?
It`s a lot better than what we`ve had for most of this winter John bit I haven`t seen any mosquitoes yet so it`s not quite warm enough to go camping John. Actually anything even remotely close to 0°C is prettynice for this time of the yr around here.
I scraped snow down to the gravel today in my yard so I`m not walking in snowy mush. My Bobcat had a good work out today.
Got my compressor today and unloaded it, garage sure is jammed up with equipment and is nearly impossible to walk through some parts of it. Tomorrow is start to build the wood stove day and I hope to have most of it done by Tuesday and can rig it up in the shop on Wednesday. Wednesday is auction day and there might be a second half to this estate that had all the stuff that I bought last week. As soon as the stove is in and set up then I won't be restricted by the temperature change in the shop and I can get back to putting in a proper amount of hours into this place and then things will start getting done around here.
Made the mistake of trenching the curb to the storm drain as no one on this side of the street has tried to do it, I don't like walking through a pond or slipping on ice when I walk down the sidewalk and its a pita when the tires are frozen to the street. Got into 2 beefs because I was trenching the ice, both of them with drunk white boys, one at 430 and the 2nd about an hour later, the 2nd one stood in his doorway threatening to kill me because I dug a trench from the street drain and was at about the 200' mark.
