This is an old crowd here tonight, must be nothing going on at the seniors home tonight, maybe they're figuring out how much their estate is worth at the auction. Lol
Busy today. Sprinkler testing started today. But my day is just about over and I will be on a nice 5 day weekend. How are you doing?
Just getting ready for my two final Bobcat jobs for this year. Enjoy your time off Shaun.
I had breakfast with a friend this morning at A&W. Even the old folks like to get out now and then.
Auction night wasn't to bad, lightened the pocket by $300 and I pissed off an older couple that didn't know how to play Auction night in Canada. They were buying furniture for they're lazy bum son so I figured he could have the crap bedroom suite, they thought that by starting at $100 no one would bid against them and start a bid battle, I won at 130 as I quick bidded them, they would have won at 160 lol. Now when I move my furniture the obnoxious heavy pieces can go to the auction.
In 2 days we get the warm temperatures again so I can get back on this paver job, but in the mean time theres a trailer and truck to move over and the start of the parts.
Got my new furniture in the new place, got the trailer moved over, found out the carb on the 250 is leaking like a sieve so its in the house now for clean up and disassembly tonight as the carb kit is in tomorrow. Killed my phone so that gets replaced tomorrow, glad theres always a tomorrow.
Name you price John, I`ll gladly pay for warmer air as my furnace bills ain`t cheap.....so it`ll be worth it.
The carb is a two barrel Perry? I used to buy rebuilt ones for $160 exchange a few yrs back, they worked great right out of the box. How did you kill your phone? I`ve been lucky with mine, a good thing I bought a good case for it or it may have bit the bullet by now.
This is a 4 barrel so it takes the cheap $35 rebuild kit unlike the 2 barrel which is $70. This phone got dropped from about 10' onto concrete about a week ago and the screen got cracked, today it fell out of the shirt pocket and that screwed it up enough that it doesn't work right anymore. I've gotten close to 3 years use out of it so the new one shouldn't be to expensive plus this is the month that I become a 20 year customer with FIDO so there should be a deal if I call the billing department. These smart phones are big enough that they feel uncomfortable for me to use, a cover would make it more difficult for me, I'm one of those who uses 1 hand for the majority of my phone use.
Its strange how that works, a 2bbl costs twice as much for a rebuild kit and a 4bbl costs twice as much to have rebuilt.
Have a beat up old phone that I'll use for a while if this one is cheaper to fix than replace, if not, then theres a new phone coming.
