Snow is still creeping of the roof, just doesn't want to avalanche off yet. Will likely do that about 1 am and frighten the hell out of us...lol
I always clean out the gutters in the fall..
The geese were out in full force today, had to have seen about 200 in total. The cable that I was expecting on monday came today, have about 16' of vents to close up and then it's time to aim the cameras and close up the rest of the vents. Got a chance to do a good inspection of the roofs ice edgeing and found where my leaks are coming from, may be able to save my landlord $1500 on a roof repair.
I hate cleaning rain gutters as it leads to more work than I wanted to do.
I always like to have gutters cleaned out in the fall but with the early snow in Oct. that didn`t happen this year.
The geese are back already? Yes, cleaning rain gutters does lead to more work but I think it`s even more work and $`s if they`re not cleaned yearly.
I stay off of roofs period.
Kind of a rough day, first another hydraulic oil leak showed up in the rear of the Bobcat, they are not made to work on as everything is cramped in very tight quarters. Then my grease gun fell off over breaking off the hose and the switch on my best flashlight fell apart. I`m heading off to bed hoping my headache goes away before morning.
Good evening John.
Since it sounds like we might get more snow I lit my big burn pit that`s the size of a small basement I dug out a couple of years ago. I should of lit sooner as it got too full. Three people going by stopped in to make sure it was a building on fire, must have looked pretty impressive from the highway.
