Its what happens when people rent to the first person that shows up. These idiots never do background checks as thats work and work interferes with leisure time. The first 2 houses on the block are owned by an Asian investor out of Vancouver and we had problems with one of his contractors. Met the investor 3 weeks ago and we played the Vancouver name game until I started mentioning names he knew and now we have an agreement in principal concerning the property maintanence and security of his properties. This house is right beside his house as its the 3rd house in from the corner. You'd be amazed how much you can learn about a place by mowing the yards and trimming the bushes next door to the place. LOL It helps that one of my cameras is directed at the corner, it also got me a good deal on his garage that has 220 power, is finished on the inside and has an exhaust fan.
Happy Sunday mornin'all. Drizzling on and off. Kalan is at the baseball tourney. I'll sit this one out. Dawn loves going to the game's. She a dog lover, and alot of people bring their dog's. She spends more time oogling dog's than watching the game, lol. Off to Sobey's, then work on the truck a little. Have a great day guy's.
Pickin at some more wiring today. I absolutely hate engine wiring for EFI, but got's to do it. If I ran conventional, it would be running by now. Good thing I have a bunch of part's in stock. If I get pissed off, I can work on something else. I'll probably get the battery box finished, and Get it ready to turn over. still have to run fuel line's and mount a couple of filter's. I installed the fuel sending unit, and new fuel guage. I also bought a s/s dash bezel, and installed it. got some fuzzy dice too! lol.
I went out to start the 50 today and it just spins, another mystery to solve. Another windy one here not even fun being outside. Oh well maybe I will just watch the race.
Good evening everyone..finally got the truck running better but still a slight miss in that one cylinder so hoping the seafoam in the oil and fuel will do the trick..
Picked up a new automobile today, its one of those new horseless carriages that this snake oil salesman called Henry has been pedaling. Its called a Touring car and can seat my butt and 3 fat assed inlaw women. Think I'll take it out to the back forty and either shoot it or this Henry character, maybe both.
Just the as found pictures, John, got to go back and get the frame on wednesday or tuesday. Had to find a place to put it for a week until I get this garage deal settled and have a proper set of locks on it. Guy with garage is buying up houses in this area and has 4 contractors working for him, so theres an income source for me. Need to find out how many are revenue properties and which ones are flips, nothing it seems is simple to do around me. Will put it in Jame's shelter tomorrow and will take pictures, still have more stuff to pick up due to the broad disappearing today after telling me one thing and her parents another, parents are in early 80's.
My yard is as full as the freezers and cupboards in my place.
Same car, looked better after it was dug out and put on the ground in order, still is a tough looking piece of metal. At least its a simple shape and form to work with so it should come back to life. Will be using the front of the tub for any project that I build so there will be leftovers for something else.
Just reread the first page of your truck rebuild and am glad this thing isn't as complicated as your truck was. Most people would toss this thing but I only need enough metal to be able to say its a car, maybe a truck. Piece of simple body, frame, suspension, tires and drive train, what more do I need, will use candles for lights or tape on some flash lights. lol. I've got the floor boards from the parts truck that got written off 2 years ago, waste not want not.
