Yeah, we've had some family down already, but it's not the same. Our benefit there is even in MN, most of our family was 4 hours away. We really only saw them on holidays. Love it here so far, but definitely some home sickness too.

My mom (83 years old) has been here once.
We moved from Southern Missouri. Our families are in the Kansas City area, where I grew up. So we were about 4 hours away too.
And oddly enough, Shari will spend a week in Mn to train for this company. That will happen pretty quick, In the next couple of weeks.
Thats a great idea, but everybody has one of them "Job things".
Yeah, those 'job things' get in the way of 'fun things' the worst part is that they also use all the time in the day when the sun is out.
Anyway, hope you found something to keep you busy.
Things are still quiet here. Waiting for spring and the time to do the vegetable garden and such. Thinking about skipping the Race in May for once, so I can focus on more important things like shop time, beer brewing, and fishing.

Shari, Tim and I have had more time to talk about what to do. And we've made a decision to move back to Missouri.
Both her parents are still doing well, but have health issues. Her dad beat Cancer several years ago, but has on going things from the Leukemia that he had.
My mom is 83 and is doing good, but I'd sure like to be around if/when the need be. Not counting all of our brother's and sisters, and new members we haven't seen since they were born.
Nothing will happen for month's, maybe even take up a year to save up the 8 to 10 grand that it will take. So your stuck with me for a bit yet.
When we do move, and if I don't have much room left, I'd like to leave my smoker for the the NC Chapter to keep using. Along with a nice stash of split Hickory wood. Who's up for a smoker
We'll miss you Bob but family is important. I certainly wish you the best with your move and going forward. You know if you ever need anything here in NC you've got plenty of friends to count on.
I'd say Josh would be the best keeper of the smoker. He's a fellow foodie and would probably use it the most. And we can always just show up at his place when we smell bbq.
