Due to back issues and restrictions, I've been off work for at least the last 7 years, and I want so badly to have something to get up and go do for a day's pay.
Still waiting on Spring to get here. I'm hoping this weekend will be some nicer weather, and not as cold.
The fishing trip is no longer a guys trip. Kids and wives have now been included. I believe we are up to 3 cabins that I know of, maybe 4 at this point. Some of the guys have also started to mention kegs of beer, which I'm staying away from. I'm just going for the fish, sand, fish, sun, and exploring the old village and seeing if it offers any good fishing spots. I've been convinced that if the 350 isn't ready to roll that week, then I should take the TJ, so we can still do some exploring. There should be enough trucks going so that all the gear and food should have a place to get packed. Upside is that the TJ costs less to use the ferry.
Offer stands if anyone would like to join us, bring your own truck\ATV\legs or ride along, either way!
I hope the 2nd picture is after the radio install......... what time is dinner
Dave ----
A day or so after the install. And I'm happy to say that it all still works great. Unlike the Crutchfield stuff that I sent back.
And we should eat around 5pm
Welp rode 3.5 hours to chesterfield VA at a excursion, it was a POS. Guy said it was a in great running condition, it had 5 ****ing misfires on it.
Ended up riding another 1.5 hours to Stafford VA, looks like we are going home with a 2000 model V10 4x4. Well, once he finds the title.... then 5 hours back to Stella. Gonna be a long night/morning.

A turd is a turd, there's no since in lying to a guy, but people sure do try.
Tim worked, Shari spent the day with some friends from Duke, they took her out for lunch. So Rocky and I spent the day outside, and going through stuff in the shed. I babysat the smoker too. Had a couple of Baby Back Ribs and a pack of brats for dinner.
It didn't suck
Just made it home from VA, didn't get away from the guys house in Stafford until 830 or so by the time we stopped to fuel up and grab dinner it was after 9 leaving. They made it home with no issues running 80-85 all the way down 95.
I got not even 10 miles from the house and got pulled for 69 in a 55, but I was honest with the Sheriff and he let me off with a verbal warning.

Cool deal on just a warning.
I'm way past due for a ticket, but then again, my driving has settled way down. I used to have a temper.
I haven't even been pulled over in more than 20 years.
The last speeding ticket I got was probably 25 years ago.
I worked for Stanley Steamer carpet cleaning and I passed an under cover North Kansas City cop, at about 82 miles an hour, in a 45 miles an hour zone. Needless to say, he pulled me over and wanted to know why I was in such a hurry.
He didn't have a clue about the Tornado that was on the ground and heading our way.
We left rather abruptly.
So met up with my buddy to knock out some welding in Raeford. He was over at a friends running an excavator. Guy has a private range in his back yard, that he uses for teaching some different lessons like conceal carry classes.
Knocked out the work, and hit up PK's grille for some wings. It was part of an little local airport. Very fun day all in all.
