Good deal screwy. There are no warranty issues with changes made via Forscan. It's not like tuning a truck where you're changing factory parameters and increasing risk failure. Your just changing settings that were options from the factory. They are options that we didn't have access to before Forscan but not new options written by the program.

Maybe someone on here should, submit all these hex changes to Forscan so it can be implemented in the next version as a plain english option.
Watching the 150 guys on the 150 forum, the find new options/changes every day it's amazing.
Switch, many of the common changes are available through "plain English" options. In other words, they can be changed though a simple drop down menu spelling out what you are changing from and what you are changing to. The hex code changes are more for experimenting on unknown options. Yes, you can change the common ones that way too but it's easier and safer to do it through the plain English route if it's available. Each new version of Forscan includes more plain English options as they become a proven quantity.
I agree!! If only I had a 2017 to experiment with. I'd be all over it.
Karl4Cat, I can share my screen with you once my OBDll connector arrives tomorrow from Amazon. I own a tech company and we use Bomgar for remote access & control. You're welcome to take a look around. You can help explain the FOREscan while you learn about the new 2017 code. This will help us both.
Guys, I'm not a HEX code expert. I just know how to use the program. I'll need to do some learning on my own truck before I'd feel comfortable playing with someone elses. That said, I won't have my 2017 until the spring so it's going to be a while. However, there are some computer dudes here that are a lot more familiar with hex changes that could likely help now rather than later. Check out the F150 forum too for lots of info too. FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck - Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans Since we share a cab and a lot of electronics with the 150 now, I bet a lot of their options cross over to the new 17 SD's. I have a hunch though, that by the time I get my truck, many of the options that currently need hex changes to enable will be plain English options in future releases of Forscan.
