New here. First off wanted to thank livnitup for an amazing job on the f150. With that being said I have started testing to see how many of the f150 codes match up to the f250. Looks like livnitup and the others have pretty much paved the way for us. So far I have confirmed that the different boot up screens and global open and close do work. I will keep posting back here as I get more confirmed.
I just did the fog lights with low beams which works great. Also set the timeout for the 12V. Haven't tested to see if that one works or not yet. I found that one in the F150 spreadsheet.
any luck with the power points? i was not able to get them working my self!
I'm not so worried about bricking any of the modules as setting something and not realizing the full changes it made until some bad moment. Like finding out I modified the ranging of BLISS at the same time as making the beep for it louder, or something .
I do plan to try most of the 150 items when I get back home in a week. Need to find out why writes are failing to one module and not others. Never got back to trying it with engine off.
I tried a change to my wifes Fusion from the fusion forums, to change the display, now the stop/start feature in the adaptive cruise does not work, I dont know what it changed.
I might have to give this program a try once I get back from my deployment. It sounds kinda like a program I read about 8 or 9 years ago when I had my duramax to tow a 5er called EFI live (I think). I don't believe that program was free, but it also allowed you to change a bit more than FOREScan does from what I've read. EFI live could delete whole systems like EGR. I don't plan on messing with any of the systems related to emissions, but just change a few things like the TPMS.
hey fellas, i was also curious to know if anyone found how to program Daytime running light full bright with headlights and parking lights on?_thank you
Is the daytime running lights on full bright with your headlamps?? I'm hoping to turn off the parking lamp dimming while using parking lights AND headlights ....
anyone know if we use a mac, do we have to use apple bootcamp or can we use Parallels as well? -thank you!!
I use Mac and Parallels but haven't tried for FORScan (I use a windows PC). I have never tried using bluetooth with windows but as long as you can, there should be no reason you couldn't run FORScan
Depends on versions of Parallels and MAC OS. It can work but you may need to play with settings for how you share the OS BT adapter with the VM.
Thank you guys, yessir I played with settings last night prior to receiving my bt dongle obdII and I think I got it. Just waiting on UPS to deliver and I'll get started......one question, what beta version are you guys working with in forscan ? I followed the link to extended license but I'm afraid I did a couple things wrong, might be a stupid question but where do you find the hardware ID? Is this from the Bluetooth OBDII plug in itself? Stupid me, think I just copied hardware Id using the example on the forescan forum if by hardware they meant that OBDII BT deal. Again, sorry for the newbie questions, learning here fellas

Hardware ID is found under the settings menu inside of ForScan. I think it is under the steering wheel/gear icon near the bottom. And be sure you register for an extended license, that is required for making changes within the system as well.
