I was able to get the software installed, license key and my old USB to obd2 cable to work.... great software. However I did not see any of the options you listed. I was only able to turn remote start, alarm, etc on and off. Did not see any tpms, fuel tank size and fog light overrides.... not sure where to find those, or if they are excluded since I have an XLT?
On a side note, if anyone is in the San Diego area and wants a chance to play with the software shoot me a pm.

That's likely because you are using the cable. You need BT adapter to not only change options but also to see many of them in the first place...
I purchased the OBDLink Mx bluetooth and cant get it to work. Has anyone else had any trouble with it? Im starting to think i need to try an Android device, but i dont have one. Tried using my windows 7 laptop, but no luck. Any advise before i give up and return this thing?

It paired with my phone easy. One problem you might be having is you have to connect it twice. You have to press the button on the front of the obd2 device so it can be seen. Then you pair it with your phone of laptop just like any other device. Then once it is paired you then have to connect it through the software and you have to make sure it is set to connect by bluetooth.

Ive tried just about everything. When I plug it in to the OBD Port, the blue light flashes fast the entire time. No matter what. I'm leaning toward a faulty device. I will probably send it back for a replacement and try again. If that doesn't work, I'll just live with the double horn honk.
Well i contacted Scantool and they sent me a replacement device in 2 days. Great customer service. The new unit works and i have it connected now. Can anyone fill me in on how to change the double horn honk and fog lights with high beam?

Glad to hear your up and running! The OP Rutcutter did both of those changes. I'm sure he will be along to guide you through the process. If not, shoot him a PM...
I did a little digging and figured out both. This is what I found. This may or may not work in your particular vehicle, (insert standard disclaimer)
Double horn honk:
726-41-02:
0001 0001 0173 (enabled) factory setting
0000 0001 0172 (disabled)
I changed the 0001 to 0000 and it changed the 0173 to 0172 itself.
Fog lights with high beam:
726-27-01:
0001 0001 0056 (disabled) factory setting
0001 0000 0056 (enabled)
are you able to enable/disable the power running boards?
there has been some discussion whether they can be enabled on a truck that did not come with them from the factory.

I have no idea. I have a Platinum, so it came with the running boards.
Also, for most of these options, your looking at a series of numbers. No way of knowing what they are until someone deciphers them.
Switch, many of the common changes are available through "plain English" options. In other words, they can be changed though a simple drop down menu spelling out what you are changing from and what you are changing to. The hex code changes are more for experimenting on unknown options. Yes, you can change the common ones that way too but it's easier and safer to do it through the plain English route if it's available. Each new version of Forscan includes more plain English options as they become a proven quantity.
I agree. But it seemed like only 20% of the options were in "plain english". Neither of the two options I was after were. I think that is something that will be updated as they figure out what each option is. At least thats whats in my head for some reason.
