awesome, I'm in!! was getting confused bc that thread stated --"you need to get the Hardware Id of you laptop!" just anxiously awaiting my BT OBDII to arrive and i think I'm all set.....FOR NOW at least. lol, what beta version are you all running? lots of great info here by the way, thank you much!!!
So my truck won't be here for a while yet, but will this software allow making all the adjustments through the mobile Android version just like it does on a laptop?
You have to have the software running on a windows laptop connected to the OBDII connector via bluetooth. You cannot write changes with the mobile versions but you can monitor PIDs with them.
Today, well yesterday at time of this post.... I Received my OBDII MX Bluetooth dongle from scan tools and it's very much worth the $70 knowing your getting the rite adapter that works. ALso, for anyone using MacBook Pro, you CAN USE this option and get full features with proper extended License via forscan.org. Make note although others have clarified they've used forscan on MacBook Pro via Bootcamp. I can now verify myself that Using PARALLELS with Macs .....wahoo!!! Lights on brights WITH fogs and ByeBye Honk Honk thanks to all you fellas that helped to make this happen
Once admin has approved your membership you can use the key generator on the Forscan download page to unlock your Forscan program and you can change settings at will.
I know this is an old thread, but can someone direct me to where the forescan forums are? Just downloaded the software and looking for that key generator in order to unlock the software. Thanks

What module are you all using to change the as-built data, I am looking at changing some things like turning on the fog lights as DRL, Force Regen on, hyper flash off, tpms off, outside temperature on in the productivity screen, and possible add down hill assist on, I have looked at the veepeak

If it works you still will not be able to write using IOS. You have to use Windows and a bluetooth ODB II. I have tried a few and some ODB II work faster than others the best i've used is the ODBlink MX.
