Josh, I would be up for that if I'm not working. As for the poly bushings, just get some extra poly bushing grease to mitigate the squeaking. None of my poly suspension bushings squeak.
I can get into the idea there Josh. As for a weekend, most of mine are free this time of year, unless we get a freak 80 degree weekend, then i might sneak off to the mountains on the bike.
Guess I'm going to head home and see if I can sort out the no spark issue that I am having with Ol' Blue. Really hoping to make the big race tomorrow in Hubert. Looking at the pits, it should be some damn nice passes made.
We made it to North Carolina four years ago today!
A lot of different things have really improved for us since we made the choice to start over. I really appreciate y'all taking us in and making us feel welcomed.
I think we're taking advantage of the weather again today and getting some touch up work done to the Peanuts characters that we made for our display last year.
We did get all of the new LED strobe lights on the now 34 channel Spiral Tree. It's pretty busy to look at. It officially has all 3,280 lights on it now.
Another busy day getting things ready for our 2016 Christmas display.
We have finished getting the Peanuts characters we made last year all dolled up and ready to go into the front yard.
And started on Snoopy's dog house that gets added to this years show. The Spiral tree is ready now, all 3,280 lights are on it and ready to go! Rocky was a lot of help. He even helped me with removing a tree limb from a new neighbor's tree.
Hope y'all have a great week. We'll be back at it for the next two weekends getting the show ready. But we are still planning on making it out to our dinner get together at Jame's and Kim's!
Well last night I started night classes to get my required certifications for the fire department. It's going to be 2 nights a week from 7-10 for about a year. It's going to be tough since I get up at 4am for work, but will be worth it once I've completed the course.
Good morning everybody!
Just checking in before getting busy. Two weeks from today is Thanksgiving, I can't believe how fast another year has gone by. And it's also two weeks until we will start our Christmas light display, so we're making sure lights work (3 dead strings so far, not too bad though), getting display items touched up, and even made a new piece for this year.
We added Snoopy's dog house to go with the peanuts characters that we made last year. It came out pretty decent, just a few things left to do to it, then get lights mounted on it, and it should be ready to go in the front yard shortly, along with the rest of the display stuff.
Hope y'all enjoy your day!
I received a letter about renewing the license plates on Ka'Bluey. Guess it's been a year already, wow that didn't take long.
Was pleasantly surprised to see that he's exempt from any state inspection, THAT, didn't upset me at all.
