Setup the old Fire department for rehearsal/reception. Got a few things left to finish up, one being the awning off the front of the station we built using load tarps for a semi. Then gonna take 2 fire trucks to the old church (100+ years old still no electricity and still has outhouses) with another load tarp across those to make a awning to enter the church/wedding party to hang out before we walk in. Should be a fun day/night expecially witg the latest track shifting the storm back west again.

We've been out of the house since a little after 8 this morning. But Tim was able to get his new 2014 Focus ST, Hurricane Matthew and all,

I've enough rain to last me for sure. This reminds me of Floyd back in 98 or 99, I hope it doesn't turn out to be. We'll have to wait for daylight tomorrow and start seeing news reports from out east. My power has been out since about 2pm on Saturday.

I don't know how much rain we ended up getting, but I've had enough of it.
No damage here, just some small limbs down in the area, and the yard will be wet for a long time.
Had to go out and get a current all

The wedding went very well considering the Hurricane hammering down on us. We setup the old Fire Station with a lean to off the front so we could leave doors open. Then we made a covered walkway going into the church with 2 fire trucks, and another big tarp. Got that done around 1, just in time to haul *** home take care of the 4 S's and get dressed to meet back up with the rest of the groomsman to car pool to the old church. Then we preceded to drink beer and have a good reception/hurricane party until just after 10 when water started running in the back door of the old station
