Oh wow! I have installed TPMS on 2 trailers. I took them to the dealer to have them activated. They have some electric handheld device that activates the sensor. They didn't charge me, but I like this do-it-yourself idea better!
Thanks for the video.

We had the TPMS sensors installed in our fiver last Saturday. I drove it a mile, parked, and ran the set up procedure. Beth let air out of each tire until the computer recognized it. Had to let about 10 PSI out of each tire. Aired it up and took it for a brief highway run.
Yup i agree, shouldn't be too long before we see some chinese knockoffs. I still can't bring myself to spend 750 on a camera and cable...
I found a factory ford camera & tpms kit on eBay that for sells for $700. New in the box that an owner did not want for $200. Figured it was worth a shot. Hoping to install it in the next month.
For $700, I got the camera integrated into the system, plus the TPMS for the trailer also integrated into the dash.
I could have spent say $500 for cheap(er) versions of both, but then would have had to hang a monitor plus some display for the TPMS.
I'm very happy with mine. Yes it isn't cheap, but I felt like I paid extra to integrate into the dash; it was worth it for me.
I think Brady got the same $700 Ford OE kit you got for $200. I too scored a new, unused kit for far less than Ford's price. Brady beat my deal though. I think I paid $400 shipped for my complete Ford OE trailer TPMS and camera kit.

Yep, well done. If there's a way to overpay for something, I can do it!
I basically wanted it and the dealer rolled it into the deal. I probably should have bought it separately on my own.
I found out the hard way too, that's always the case with Ford accessories. The all weather mats and wheel well liners I ordered on the truck could have been had cheaper after the fact. Ah well... live and learn.
Here you go. Pics of mine with the Nichol's Mfg. mounting box connected by their extension harness.
Can’t tell from the pics whether your box has the rubber gasket behind it. The early Nichols kits didn’t come with a gasket (they do now). If you have an early kit without gasket, you can order the gasket for $4.95. I added the gasket to mine.
I'd love to have this system but I can't see any way to run the cable inside the rear cap of my Montana. plus it's a 40' trailer and if I understand the kit description the cable is only 35' long. I would need at least 50' to reach the back of my camper and up to the camera mount. It came with the Furion wireless camera monitor which work just fine but I'd love to get away from having an extra device stuck to my windshield as well as adding the TPMS.
