Now you have me wondering - do you need the whole tow tech bundle? I was planning on just getting the ultimate camera package, not the whole bundle. The adaptive steering, lane departure, and automatic wipers seem like stuff I could live without to save a grand on a truck that's already waaay more than I wanted to spend.
Seems like as long as you have the ultimate camera option, you should be good to go.

Yes the kit is cheaper that way for me but I hope the rest is already in the truck

I would guess the Ultimate Tow camera package would be enough. See this post i just made about the four camera options. Three of the four options support the Aux camera.

I have the sync3/ ultimate tow camera on my XL, which is probably a rarity I assume.

Then, you can just order the trailer camera kit online and you're good.

I look for the harness behind the bumper. It wasn't obvious. Is is it more hidden?

That's what I thought I read before I got my truck. I felt up there but found nothing and figured I didn't have it. Does the tire have to be lowered?
