Happy morning brothers! I'm fighting the technology today. Strongly considering upgrading my cellphone, since this one can't be updated to the newer versions of android OS, and it seems to have huge problems dealing with the multiple google calendars that run my life. Really like the looks of the brand new top end phones, but don't like the prices. There are some cheapo knockoffs that I'm working on figuring out.

They make some pretty simple phones these days for "older" users. I just helped my father-in-law get his first, and he has really taken to it. We made all the text larger so he can read it even without his glasses, and the screen is large. He's texting like a fool now, it's great. He likes texting because he doesn't feel that it's a big intrusion like is someone phones him. He can ignore it for an hour or two if he is busy.

No word yet on house, want to get a call saying a mortgage appraiser is showing up.
Going to be a hot one today, have putter job in a shady area I'm going to do.
I've got an old samsung and have been with Fido since october of 97, have a good package but the phone is getting old and beat up

Happy day folks. Spending the weekend with the family in Drumheller. We didn't do a big winter trip anywhere this year, so this is instead of that. Not planning to accomplish much, but if the rain holds off we hope to get out for a hike. If the weather sucks we'll hit up the local indoor pool, and in either case we will spend one morning at the dino museum.
Try and keep the crazy thread on the rails while I'm gone. I may not check in, depending on wifi and other factors.

Finally getting some cool wet weather, plant life really needs it out here. Its a drizzle so it will soak up quite well, no fear of flooding. Get to have a no choice day off so that comes in handy.
Cant find the house listed anywhere so thats a good sign but havent heard from anyone if the house is sold or if they're sending offers back and forth. This place needs a window upgrade,$18k a roof edge and soffit repair and its the original furnace and could be original water heater, so there is a need for negotiation. These bidders replaced the windows in their half of the duplex last year and have the same roof edge problem thats on this side. Furnaces and water heaters have another 3-5 years of life in them. Hope this place gets sold this month.

We had a lite drizzle most of the day and it was about 3c, just enough to make and keep everything wet. Hope we get more of this, heavy rains would be okay up north but would be a waste down here as the ground is to parched to soak it up.
House isnt to bad a shape Gerry, just needs to be brought up to modern standards to keep it in line with the rest of the houses in the hood. Would add value to this place.
