Checked out the suite this morning, lady was all happy that I might be moving in, had tea and cake and that was friggin good. Wasn't a good fit for me as we had to work on some sort of a deal on her garage.

Banker babe Ronnie calls about a half hour ago, she's been in Vancouver. Told her whats all happened, she was appalled some ahole agent would refuse an offer that way. She's calling her agent on monday, house goes on the board next week and this boy is going to smarten up. She was raised in the house next door, Thom has known her since before she was born, about half this street is original owner houses the rest with the exception of mine have 25 - 35 year long ownerships. This place is safe for me now. Heppy, Heppy, Heppy.

Now to go across the street tomorrow morning with a carrot cake for some more tea.

Well, spent the morning building a new page on my company website to help promote some training we're putting on. Man, web stuff is a pain in the ****!
I guess a person who did this as their job would have taken less than an hour. Took me a little over four hours. Ugh.

Have it up on linkedin too, which is a pretty handy tool some days.

Hopefully this generates a little money for the company, that would be nice.

Hope it works out. I always wanted to learn Web Design, just never had time, I figure I'll leave it to the younger kids now.

Well, if you want to set up a wordpress site, getting the bones up and running is actually pretty simple, and there is a lot of support available.

What I've found is that the things I thought would be tough, are easy, and the things I thought would be easy, are maddeningly difficult.

That's true for sure. I've been working with computers since I was 13, I'm overloaded just playing games and keeping my home network running, plus I manage a computer system at work.

Building my Mercury is the only non-computer thing I've ever done. Not that I'm building it really, just overseeing and financing the project.

Went for a nice walk today with the wife around the headworks for the Western Irrigation District Canal, then back up past Harvie passage and ingelwood. Pretty warm day out there.

Going for a walk can lead to a pretty good day, especially in the spring. some times in the early part of spring it almost feels like I'm growing.

1 more week and I find out if the banker babes are serious about buying this place, in the meantime I get to spend the week dropping the shop. If banker babes buy the place I get to put up the shop again in May. I hate home sales, to much work finding the buyer, and making sure the deal goes through, good thing this agent wants it sold.

Doing a little work today for some family that own a dollar store and have just moved locations. Assembling shelving doesn't sound terribly fun, but I doubt it'll tax my brain too much, so it may be somewhat mentally relaxing.

One off the greatest jobs I ever had was working in a fertilizer plant, putting poop, and dirt into bags. It was the night shift, so there weren't many of us around. After eight hours of that, your mind has done all the wandering it needed to do for the day. If you showed up stressed, you can just yell and swear a little more, and it's all gone by the end of the night.

I was driving a beat-up old Lincoln town Car with the 302 engine, and really loud exhaust as well. Man, what a car! Man, that was a long time ago now.

Looks like my housing problems may be coming to an end and my landlady is or has been put in her place. Not everyone can sell a house in 3 weeks without it being listed in this town, with this economy. Guess it pays to have a good reputation and have the ability to get along with the neighbors. Pays to be hated by the junkies and their CPS handlers. LOL

That's great news Perry. Housing problems are so stressful.

I'm back out to the dollar store today to assemble more shelving.
