Sounds like you guys have been keeping very busy with all of your own stuff. I have just gotten back from Vancouver for another cheer competition. Have one more to go and the season will be over. Then I can start the bank roll for next season that will break me again.
Been tearing down shelters/shops, cutting up truck, changing motors and transmissions, pulling rear axle out and dealing with landlady who's practicing her dementia act, oh and putting together buyers with real estate agent only to see him screw up the deal. Think these fools have their act together enough to sell the place this week end, banker babes that own other side of house want to buy it and move their mother in upstairs. Home owner and I are on the same page, frustrated at the idiots who keep screwing up. lol He knows the girls and wants them to buy the place and so do I, he gets his money and I don't move. Wish we were the ones doing the deal.
Yee haw, rah rah
lets make papa choke
$pend it til he's broke
Yee haw, rah rah
I hope it all works out for you. I've been in my place for 16 years, I can't even imagine moving, I would actually have to clean up the shed and garage!
7 years into this place, came into town from an acreage with a ton or 2 worth of stuff, would be nearly impossible to move. Would've gone to the bank myself but they won't touch me with a mortgage they only want me to make deposits lol. Moving is a beyotch at the best of times Dank, this will work out one way or another, still have another name on my list of qualified buyers and then it's onto the people I dont really like but they have money list. Lol
First stress free day in 3 weeks, think I'll do a walk and rake the yard and detail the landscaping that I've put in. Sure wish it would rain and turn every thing green and make it smell like spring.
Wow, GIGGER, I've been collecting computers since about 1984. I've got 18 or so, never know when you might need a spare! Speaking of old junk, I hope I can get rid of all extra truck parts after my build is done. I would love to be on an acreage, but my family thinks I'm too lazy to do all of the yard work, they are probably right!
I'm too lazy for an acreage. It would get out of hand in a hurry. Maybe if I was going for a "back to nature" kind of vibe that would be ok? However, being able to park the trailer at my house would be nice instead of paying for storage.
Happy weekend. Might go look at a truck or two this afternoon to become my summer tow rig.
Having an acreage can be a lot of maintainance work but it's all the extra costs that add up. When I moved to town I found that I eliminated 42k from what I had to make in order to have a place to live. Decided to find a way to survive a way to survive on a pension income and based my moving, living decisions on that. Knew that there was no way Varsity estates wouldnt want me and didnt want to get stuck in Dover or Ogden and the Whitehorn to Temple area held no charm. Friends of mine lived in Forest lawn when it was new and they were first married so thats what put me here. Was hardly home during the first 3 years as I was still working but knew I was on a good street but nobody would have anything to do with me which was really strange. Figured out why when I had my stroke, now things are normal as they should be, just need to sweat it out to tomorrow night. Things should work out due to my gypsy luck but you never know for sure until it does.
Already have 2 summer jobs in the hood and I'm figuring out how to rebuild the shelter/shop. Would like to put this fountain pump to use and do a feature in the backyard and put in a plant feature in the front yard to make it look nice, Mugo pine and some succulents in a rock bed with a watering system. I like nice yards and if you know how to put them in for cheap you may as well.
