    Hi Dan,
I have a horn button identical to yours, with the same 3 sets of numbers as yours and I'm trying to figure out what it came from. Do you know that your horn button is original to your Mercury truck? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Hi again Dan:I think you're right about the horn button on my m100 being replaced by a ford button as well as the hubcaps..I actually was looking for a 48-50 M47truck.. Have most all the 48 merc truck interior/exterior trim. I passed on a m47 in Toronto but came across the 65 M100 in upstate New York where I'm slowly dismantling it. The box and most of the front clip has been removed. Frame is solid but the motor is a 350 chevy.. I have the power steering and disc brake set up from a 78 f150 to bring it into the modern age. It is a custom cab styleside longbed with the original Canada only twilight turquoise paint. Now basically rounding up parts for it.
Well keep in touch with your project progress and if you run into another tailgate let me know. The most important thing for me is that the "MERCURY" panel is straight and solid. If you are looking for anything let me know also. Lefty Rodan

    Hi Dank:
Saw you chipped in on the mercury forum discussion and was wondering if this email will go through to you. Please acknowledge if it does. Thanks Lefty Rodan NJ
