I got the weed eater strung with more line, and the yard trimmed. I did find the gas leak on my mower. It has a plastic fuel tank, and I found a split about an inch and a quarter long. Cleaned and scuffed with sandpaper and a nice coating of JB Weld. I'll know in a couple of day's when I mow the yard if it sealed. I've used JB Weld before on metal and plastic gas tanks with pretty good luck.
That should do the trick Bob. I need to go take the blade off my weedeater and go pickup some more string and weedeater around the house since I cut the grass yesterday.
I think it'll be alright.
Later this morning I'm heading out to LKQ salvage yard in Durham. On line it shows that they have a 79 F150 in inventory. So I'm hoping to snag that linkage that I've been looking for. And maybe a few other dent side goodies.
No good on that linkage that I'm (Still) looking for. So with a few, I'm sure I can bend me one out of some metal tubing.
But, I did still manage to spent $50 at the local pick and pull yard on some dent side stuff.
I did get me the "Box" to my glove box, that was missing. I also snagged me another, center part to the grill, (I think I have 3 now), a good bezel for the instrument cluster 9I have 2 now) and the horn part to the steering wheel with wood grain (since I don't need one now). But as these trucks get older, the parts are harder to come across.
My new Coyote Emblem showed up yesterday. I'm glad I didn't pay the extra $21.95 for 2 day delivery. We ordered them the end of last week and their here already.
