So, it was such a pretty day here in the mountains I ducked out of work about an hour early and went driving up in the mountains near linville nc (beautiful area over this way). I stop at yet another gas station to get gas, in the mountains I may get 10 miles/gallon going up all the steep mountain passes and elevation. This local yahoo comes over to look at truck and starts off with..

Why did you paint it hugger orange?
It's not, it's calypso orange with pearl. Hugger is more mustard colored orange

Ughmm. I have the paint code number here on the seal and I repainted to match that, which is calypso coral

I don't know I thought it would be cool and just. Didn't want a bright orange truck but stay true, somewhat to factory color

I mean, everyone's got an opinion but I don't think I have ever come over to someone just to put down theiir vehicle. I don't really care for the little pimped out Hondas and imports but I can respect the work someone has put into it to make it unique or their "own"

Yea, struck me as kind of doushy..Lucille might not be everyones cup of tea but to say some crap like that..well, that's just plain rude..ha-ha oh well. It's funny now in retrospect as he climbed into his beaten up early 90's dodge ram..

truck looks good to me mate... dont mind the haters... everyone has an opinion just like they have a butt hole... just because they have an opinion doesnt mean their opinion is correct... you do what you like with your truck and they can do what they like with their own.. so long as you like what youve done with it thats all that matters... if they cant tell one color from another thats their issue..

I had a bike not long ago. People would always ask "what kind of bike is that?" I'd say Aprilia. They'd say "no, what brand?" I'd say Aprilia. No, like who makes it? Aprilia. Then they'd shrug and walk off.
Lots of folks would say nice bmw. I'd say "thanks."
Didn't matter a bit.
Just don't talk bad about Larry's Volvo. He's sensitive.
I had a bike not long ago. People would always ask "what kind of bike is that?" I'd say Aprilia. They'd say "no, what brand?" I'd say Aprilia. No, like who makes it? Aprilia. Then they'd shrug and walk off.

You can't beat a day cruising around the Carolina mountains. I don't think they have an ugly spot up there.
