Don't scratch too hard, Privateer Yes, back half is from an 86 4X4. All that I could find at the time. Not perfect, but works for now. And I love that boat too - great lawn ornament. We bought this place from the family of an old fisherman.

Good luck finding a new winter project - looking forward to watching your work.

That was awesome.. and one quick way to put lowering beams on your truck
I loved how the front fenders got "bulged" out South American style

Rich, Lemme know if you ever run into a "Rotunda" Western mirror head. If so, I need one to match the one on my 71 F250...

I actually have a lone west coast mirror set up that has been painted. I will see if it's a Rotunda, if so, it's all yours.

First real snow of the season came in last night, will be gone by the weekend. 37 stitches became 22, figured that count would change. Tenant got warning and eviction based on damages done to property during last 5 months, he pays to get everything fixed or has to move. Weirdo uncle is gone for good, eviction if he returns. Apparently I was trying to convince Shawn to shave with my trowel not warning him to be careful with it and Shawn was trying to use trowel as a razer and drunk unc was there to save the day the evil sober guy. Give idiot a badge and a gun and he'd be special investigator of the year in this town.
I've got my sites wrapped up, 2 more days at the ranch, 3 wooden gate repairs and replacements were done during the last month. Got every bodies yard winter prepped except half of mine, par for the course LOL.
Thought I was going to get to my stuff but now I have a vanity and linen shelf to install, lino floor to replace, table to refinish and a suite to repaint. We're having a recession up here(oil never goes bust), thousands are being laid off or are unemployed and people are complaining about lack of economic recovery. Retired unemployable stroke guy is averaging over $22 an hr and has no shortage of work and it's all word of mouth advertising. First thing I tell people is that I don't work more than 6 hrs a day as it leaves me exhausted and after 3 days, long hrs bugger me up health wise. Response is "when can you start". Whats wrong with this picture, aren't I supposed to be concerned about my crap only and not care about anyone's stuff but my own, LOL

Time to retire, get a couple of cats and trucks and entertain the cats by working on the trucks.

So the ford mirror is fluted and the rotunda ones are smooth, if I get some daylight hrs to myself I should go through my mirror collection.

Does anybody know why header companies make the headers so low and why are the driver side collectors further forward than the passenger side? This makes me want to cut about 4 inches off the tubes going vertical and move the passenger side forward about six inches. Kinda getting to me.

If I ever find a cheap set on CL, I might experiment a little.

The Rotunda mirror heads are also fluted (bead rolled). The only difference is the logo... Rotunda was Ford's over the counter brand. All I had ever seen until I got my ;71 F250 was either "FoMoCo" or the Ford oval logo ... Rotunda heads are out there but apparently very rare.

Why do I buy things that no one else will? I had to save it from the crusher.
