Dallas. I have an opportunity that has been bouncing around since 2009. My daughter graduates from high school this year, and I am hoping to go for it.

36 hrs of other peoples naggy bytchy wives and sisters in law, why do females drive 3 hrs just to argue with someone they can argue with on the phone. At least the kids wanted to have fun and weren't knawing on each other. West Edmonton mall is like vegas north, different every time I go but still the same place. Shoulda stayed home and worked on the shop.

Why instead of putting just a tube in the backhoe tire and then tell me I need a new one.... did they not put a boot/liner and then the tube in and let me get back to work and not have to take it back to them later....

Note to self. Do not be in a hurry to get back to work and not ask all the possibly questions involved in the process...that is why. lol

Well cool deal, Dr. Hyde. That's where I am. Let me know when when you make it and I'll take you to a Mexican food joint. Or maybe a burger and beer drive in.

Funny that you mention backhoes, used to work for a company that owned a backhoe. Billy would get Jesse or Lloyd to move it and when who ever was supposed to use it got to site, it would have at least 1 flat front tire. They would take the hoe bucket out of the clam bucket and reattach it to the hoe, then smoke a joint. On the way to the new site they would do wheelies over the road approaches. Naturally by the time they got to site the beads on the front tires would be broke, tubeless front tires. Billy didn't seem to mind spending up to a g-note a month getting the front tires rebeaded. I used a padlock once to lock the chain to the buckets and whoa, was I ever on the s-list. Mean old guy put an end to play time.

Backhoe.....wheelies.....I have never.......skid steer neither....

Getting a industrial tire shop to vulcanize a boot in it, and they even have a loaner tire while I wait on the repair.

$279 for a new one, ouch.

At least it's not a liquid filled inner tube. You'd love tri point and steel wheeled tractors.

Foam filled is a common thing around here on tractors anyway, this is thorn tree country.

Got it boot repaired for now, it will last, till it doesn't.

Needed to replace bulbs in my 06 silverado work truck. I have a contractors topper on it with barn doors. It didn't close right so I put screws in it. Anyway, stopped at a hardware store to get bulbs and they didn't have a light book. So I googled and found the bulb number. Thought I would be smart a replace all at the same time so I bought 2 packages. After getting to the bulbs, find that each side has 3 of the regular bulbs and one small one. I happen to have one more regular bulb in my parts so I got all but one back up light replaced. But what are these small ones. Got to looking and wouldya know it, they 194s. Go to my dent parts and find a couple from a dash I disassembled and bodda bing bodda boom, bob's your uncle.

I noticed the Lefty conversation and as I am a lefty, thought i would chime in. I got tired of living in a right handers world, so, alot of my stuff is set up for a lefty. After many years of trying to ply a right handed guitar, for my birthday one year I bought a new lefty acoustic. Love it.

Saw an article the other day about a mother who noticed her left handed child was trying to write right handed. After asking him why, she found out his teacher told him that the left hand is evil, and if used it to right he would go to hell. This happened this school year, so that mentality is not over.

Bit of lefty trivia for ya. A bread knife is made to fight the natural tendency of a person to cut crooked and at an angle. But, when a left handed person uses one, it exaggerates the crooked cutting. This is why we cut bread so badly.
