Towed by Yellowstone today. We wanted to turn in, but don't have reservations and have been away from home for over a month, so we pressed on.
Probably a slim shot, but we checked out of our site this morning that we had reserved until the 25th in Grant Village campground if you're still nearby and want to call them.
Which campground is that if you don't mind sharing with us?

Thanks for the heads up, but we are headed east toward GA. We stopped outside of Chamberlain SD for the night and will be at Myre-big MN state park tomorrow to see a family friend.
No 5th wheel in the shot, but this is our view for the evening.
How about just the back end of the 5th wheel?
I made a stabilizer for the rear hitch from an old bike carrier and the power Jack off of my popup trailer. Hoping to add a little stability to the back 15’ behind the last set of power jacks.
It is powered by my Ryobi tool batteries. Easy storage.

Novel solution!
If it was me, I probably would have defaulted to the traditional solution of a pair of scissor stabilizer jacks. But if a place to mount them to was too much work I likely would have passed on that and looked for an easier way.

I will eventually mount one of these. https://www.etrailer.com/Camper-Jack...39-941705.html
I have more time than money right now getting ready for a month on the road. I had the Jack sitting around not being used, so I figured why not.

I put a set of them on my 6th wheel in 2005 and after working through some problems they have been great. They will stop all back and forth movement and most of the bouncing plus they work for side to side leveling.
Now for the problems. First the bracket that tied the two jacks together was not heavy enough and it cracked, they sent me a new heavier version. I still had bouncing after that so I removed the jacks and had them welded together and repositioned below a frame cross piece and bolted them to it. The last thing I fixed because I still had to much bounce was to mount a piece of 1/2 plywood under the Jack screw to stop it from flexing when someone was moving around in the trailer. I have nice solid jacks that have been trouble free until last year but that was just because they were getting dirty and needed a good cleaning, I took them off and cleaned and repainted them and they look and work like new.

I recognize that view and have been through there many times. We live in Sturgis....

I like that, but would use the 12v coming out the hitch harness since I have it on mine, which does not have provision for scissor jacks due to the hitch structure.
Or...maybe just a hand crank model will do?

Do you have any pictures of how you wired up the inside of the charger? I'm going to be doing a similar mod to pull power from a battery for a different project. Did you just solder the wires to the metal tabs and leave the circuit board in situ, or did you have to do more?
