You pulling that 310rl with a 6.2 6 speed ? How is that working for you?
We were looking at the 310rl and absolutely love it. We are going wait to see the new avenues now 32rls. We love the new alliance's
It is pulling very well. I haven’t gone up any mountain passes yet, but I’m able to cruise at 65 easily here in Denver. I’m expecting the mountains to be slow, just like my V-10 motor home was. It weighed 23k with my Wrangler in tow and made it up every pass in Colorado, sometimes down to 45MPH.
Thanks! I have the 6.2, 4.30 gears and a Five Star 87 everyday tow tune. I haven’t hit the Ike Gauntlet yet but the interstates are no problem here in Denver.
Thats awesome, For us its the 310 or the avenue 32rls. Nice to know the f350 we are going to order next year shouldnt have a problem with it. Thinking 7.3 lariat with 4.30's SCLB
Beautiful set up btw
Last time I posted in here we were still in our 2014 Montana. We did buy a new Riverstone to replace it. We liked the floor plan better, rear kitchen, forward bath, 1 1/2 bathrooms. I liked the disc brakes, H rated Goodyear G114’s and full body paint. We bought it new in a January 2019. We travel quite a bit several months out of the year, usually winter, and I use it for lodging in summer when I’m working fires in California. This one is a bit heavier than the Montana. The GVW is 19032, it scales at 18970 wet, 3230 of that is on the hitch. This Rv is 43 feet and change. Here’s a few pix of it.

Finally got her out for our first trip, a quick two night stay at nearby Bledsoe Creek State Park here in Tennessee. Rained a lot, but happy to report we love the layout and everything worked as it should. The only thing I've had to do so far was tighten a few water line fittings, and I'll take that compared to some of the horror stories I've heard about new camper quality lately.
Below is a campground near Hayesville NC where we stayed the evening after the north GA GTG.
^^^ Our 5th wheel is on the right. Another GTG attendee was staying in the next spot.
^^^ Sunset that night was amazing on the lake. This is just down the hill from our site.
A bit of fun leaving the north GA GTG is in the video below. The road up to pavement was sketchy with loose rock. A 2WD truck unloaded got stuck 3 times going up the hill that morning.

That’s good to hear. We had a 2018 Rockwood 2902WS. We really liked the trailer and found it to be pretty trouble free as well.
