Yes I agree and we do take one long trip a year we went last year to Las Vegas we live in the PNW so that is about a 1200 miles trip for us one way don't know what we are going to do this year, the dealer still have our fiver doing some warranty work on it and I don't know when we are going to get it back. We was talking about going down to Spark, NV or Canyonville, OR but we can't plan nothing until we get our fiver back, but I'm hoping soon though. Thank you and be safe.

We just spent 2 weeks at Sam's Town in Las Vegas and 5 weeks at Canyon Trail RV Park in Boulder City NV. It was a very nice trip for us.

Have you thought about places like the Tetons, Glacier NP or Yellowstone? Each amazing!

You be safe as well sir and we look forward to reading about your adventures.

We are about to embark on 8 hr trip of which the last 25 miles is washboard dirt road to our fishing grounds at Hell Creek MT with our new F350 and Solitude. We have options, F350 with truck camper which we did last year.....but we figured we'd go there in style while everything is still under warranty.

Wife will follow me with our 4runner and 20 ft Hewescraft fishing boat. Wish us luck!

Good Luck!!! Sounds like a fun trip. 25 miles of washboard roads should be a piece of cake

Traveling from GA to ID we found a nice clearing and creek for free dollars on some public land in the SE corner of ID.

I am fluent at fly fishing sir, I can assure you of that.

I have noted Valley of Fire on our Google maps campgrounds. Thanks for the advice!

I think I shared my new 5th wheel that I bought back in January, but here she is on the maiden voyage a couple weekends ago...also with my new '21 F-450 that I upgraded to a few weeks ago....seen it siting at the local dealer as a special order someone backed out of and I couldn't pass on the trade-in price they gave me for my '19 F-350.

There is a sweet spot on the north end of Valley of Fire that isn't part of the official park. Its a few miles of dirt road into a sand dune experience that is always memorable. We have camped there and made numerous day trips. It's a little tough getting through the sand bowl at the bottom of the big hill with a big trailer, but plenty of free camping past there, and some absolutely beautiful scenery! It's called the Logandale Trail System. We had a family campout in March, 65 of us for 2 nights. We try to go early spring, late fall to avoid the heat. That sand is brutal in the summer! Looking forward to our trip next spring with the new 5'er. We still had the popup in March. Hopefully we don't get stuck in the sand bowl!
