We plan on taking our second trip since picking up our 5thwheel at the end of July. Seems like everything has happened to us including getting COVID before thanksgiving. We made our first short trip two weeks ago to Fredericksburg, Texas. We are scheduled to go to Choctaw in Oklahoma this weekend. Here’s a picture of our rig in Fredericksburg. We were kinda lonely there but it was good experience.

wow. That’s one fine 5er. Looks like airbags might be needed or is that just the photo?
Thanks, we're getting excited to get using it! I think it's just the photo. I do have some squat, but it didn't look that bad when coming out of the gas station later that day. I did notice the nose is up higher than it needs to be, but I have a few inches of adjustment on the pin box and the hitch. Getting the trailer level shouldn't be a problem. Mostly I need to find a good level parking lot and do some measuring hooked and empty. I also want to get some good weight readings hooked and empty to make sure the hitch is positioned correct, getting enough weight on the front axle. Air bags are definitely on my to-do list if it doesn't level out right.

Very nice rig. RV looks a lot like a Mobile Suites RV. Enjoy!
Just picked up our 2021 Grand Design 390RK Solitude last week. Took it out for its maiden voyage and not one problem found. Glad to be rid of my old one
so clad to hear that you’ve recovered from COVID. The new India variant is running thru much of Canada now. My wife and are are waiting on a 2nd vaccine. (Delayed TIL Aug)
stay safe all.

We were lucky and only had mild cases . We will be getting our vaccine soon . We know a lady that had the India variant and she was in hospital two weeks. I’m ready for some RV time . Luckily I have a RV storage at my house I built so we used everything at home . Worked out a few bugs too.

Beautiful. We have the same color truck DRW and a GD Solitude 310GK.
Those GD Solitudes are nice. Awesome looking rig Patches! Enjoy!
Both wife n I had Covid. Wasn't bad at all. Worst part was losing our sense of smell and taste. I was able to get rid of all my crappie whiskey! LOL. Thank Gawd we both are in good health and take C & D supplements. Stay safe Ya'll!
@Big Mak , as a fellow detailing enthusiast, have you looked into ceramic coatings for a top coat? I was skeptical of them until late last year and now feel they are worth the price of admission. Not having it "professionally" applied, but picking a product and going at it yourself.
I applied a coat over Meguiar Ultimate Wax after a good cleaning, polish and care and the ceramic coat is nice. For the minimal cost and effort involved, it now has a place in my paint care routine.
Also, what exactly is your dog slobber protection method? I have that issue as well and usually just use a microfiber towel and a spray detailer.
