This was our view this morning from our free campground. Just sat out enjoying the mountains in the quiet.
After sweating just a little too much in the 105* weather at the family reunion, I ordered the 3rd A/C unit. It's pre-wired and replaces the rear vent, so it wasn't too bad of a job installing it. Ran out of time to button it up, so that's the first order of business for this coming weekend. It should make the upcoming month of travel through the humid eastern side of the country much more pleasant.

We took a short weekend trip last week to a site only 50 miles away. Had the 8 yr old grandson with us and let him catch all the perch he wanted to in the lake. Cypress Lake park in Berwick, La.
We have had some pretty good days so far. Been on the road since Sunday. The old 7.3 is just eating up the miles!
First night was free camping near Kingman Az. Not bad view for free and right off the interstate. Albuquerque RV park. Night 2. Cracker Barrel free parking night 3 in Amarillo Tx. The old 7.3 PSD just eating up the miles across Texas. Great little RV park near Little Rock Arkansas. Arkansas view. Luckily running the A/C drown out the sound of the locust…..
Back from the annual float trip, now to take the camper in for some repairs to the water systems. Always something with it. Also time to track down some sensor issues on the truck.
