I'm in the hard time to remove the rear caps crowd. But now that I am running the Cat-Eye system I can't put them on anyway.

For my front and rear hub caps I have to use a common screw driver with a 1/2 inch tip or a small pry bar (with handle). Oh and a rag or it scratches the rim.

I got a question for Dually owners. What product do you guys recommend when it comes to valve stem extenders? Amazon has the wheel masters 4 inch straight extenders but I looked at my valve stems a they look a little off angle. I see that they have the braided 7" stainless steel ones and I was wondering if anybody has used them on their rig. Thanks.

If you look on ebay you'll find some 135 degree extenders, might be what you .... and I need. I've heard pro's and lots of con's on the long stainess braided ones ....leak, come loose......duuno.

Many folks use the braided SS hose system.

I got mine from eTrailer.com

I don't seem to have a problem using what is already on there. My air compressor has the right chuck to fill them up.

I got external TPMS sensors and had to use the braided hoses for the inner duals. I used the 135 degree extenders to add the TPMS sensors on the other 4 stems. I drilled into the plastic hub covers to mount the hose and sensor. Before adding sensors, I was able to get to all 6 valve stems with this: Milton Window Inflator Air Gauge — Dual-Head Straight Chuck, 1/4in. Inlet, Model# S-516 | Air Chucks Gauges| Northern Tool + Equipment

Sure ZooDad. I recently took them off when I found that the batteries in the sensor were being used as long as there is air pressure on them. Each sensor is coded and has to go back on the correct tire so I made this board in a hurry, one day.

I found out that I don't have the SS braided hoses, I have the regular brand "X" hoses! Note a heavy coat of pollen and dust.

And, now I have to be embarrassed at how dirty my truck is!

This is the extension that I have for the rear outer:

I didn't have extensions for the fronts, but that proved to be a pain. I couldn't find the ones like I had on the rear, so I got these:

Bad case of brake dust, huh? Anyway, I hope this helps.

Cat Eye and wheel balance

Those of you using the Cat Eye or similar dual tire pressure balancing systems... have you experienced any tire/wheel balance issues?

I am getting a vibration over 75mph and I suspect it is my Cat Eyes... tho I have no idea how I will address the issue if it is in fact the Cat Eyes.
