Hi everyone! I am new to the Dually club and wanted to stop by and say hi. No stranger to though. I must be on the 11 year cycle. I drove the Ford Ranger I got in high school for 11 years, then a 2005 F150 for 11 years, and just last Thursday upgraded to a 2016 F350 DRW Crew Cab. So far I'm loving it! Here's to another 11 years!
Finally got the truck back today. Went to Red Hill Ford to make a deal on a van they had in stock. No deal, they wouldn't come down on price so I had to walk away.

Sorry they wouldn't deal. But I think both of us already knew there was a very good chance of that.
Doing my delete next week, mbrp 4" down pipe finally came in so I have all the components, hopefully all goes well. A bit torn on it, the truck runs so well, runs clean, makes great power, love the speed limiter being gone. I can always change back if it is too noisy, smokey, or just not what I expected. Next few years it won't be my primary transportation anymore so I'm not worried of warranty issues, I own what I screw up, just easier that way, lol.

I'd like to hear your opinion after, that's prob what's in my future following warranty . Love how clean my truck burns , but knowing that engine is going through hell on the inside to do it concerns me
I deleted a year ago after my first turbo was replaced. Fortunately I have a dealer who is delete friendly and so when the second turbo went everthing was covered not even a concern. However I was honest with them and told them I was deleted and had a tune and they said no problem. No more DEF sensor issues no more DPF sensor issues, less things that go wrong when you are on the road.

HoseClamp,
You will not be back, the truck runs so much better deleted that you will find it hard to believe it is the same truck.

hmmm...."delete friendly" you say? i might have to pick your brain a bit on this later...
dualwheels66.....good for you and it looks like you've had good luck with the dealer in changing out the turbos both times........but, I bet Ford would not agree with the dealers decision. I would love to delete but the cost of these parts let alone the labor scares the hell outta me.
Well the turbos are a known issue, so that might have played into their friendliness. My warranty is done at 60k miles so I have less than 20k to go, so if the turbo breaks again, it better be soon. These turbo issues just make me put on the '15 turbo kit sooner than later.
