I'm sure you will. I'm in Pennsburg. Truck is kind of a driveway queen though. Mine is the green gem over grey dually with a backrack. There's also a black over gray dually running around here too and in poor lighting they look really similar. Sands does not seem to move stuff real fast. I HATED their old service manager. He's now gone, hopefully in part to my reviews. We were in the parking lot yelling at each other on more than one occasion. He hated that I did my own work.
I've been using them for warranty service and been very happy with their willingness to work with me even though I didn't buy the truck there. They just got both rear wheels warrantied for corrosion at the stems for me. Having been in the business for a few years, I know that with cosmetic stuff and warranty whether or not you bought it there can make a big difference.
Cool.
Thats too bad about the service manager, but I understand, I had dealings like that with a local H-D service manager. I wont go back as long he is there.
Anyway, thats good to hear that they treat you well now. I was wondering how that would be, since I bought mine in NJ and will be taking it there if/when I need any warranty work done. I plan to do my own service also.
I went there and wanted to buy a truck they had that was very similad to the one I have now, I actually had a handshake deal and when I came back with my trade in, they backed out. From what I understood the rookie salesman made a bad deal with me, in their opinion of course, and instead of honoring the deal they told me to go pound sand. The actual words were sorry, we have no record of that agreement, even though it was in his hand when he said that. That salesman was fired about 2 weeks later. I will never walk in their doors again.

I d have come unglued , I make a lot of deals on a handshake , wow!
I had a deal in writing at one of our Ford dealers for a used F450 King Ranch. I called that morning at 10 and said I would be there at 5pm with the check to pay for it. The manager said ok it would be ready to pick up. He called me about 4pm and said he was sorry but the truck was already sold. He claimed that the truck was already sold the day before when I drove it but nobody knew it. Oh well, I was pissed. I bought my next one from his competitor.

This happened to a friend of mine except that he had a signed contract for this used truck. They screwed up and sold it on him during the day. He got a brand new one for the used price. It was a steal!

I mean it was something with a signed contact and maybe money down. He made out for sure. But that's his story. He makes out with everything he buys, does, sees, etc.... Never seen him not get a deal.

All good, I was just being an **** lol. No idea how that panned out. Glad to hear someone actually honors a deal, doesn't happen too often anymore!
Well it happened again, blew another turbo on the way home tonight. I have just over 40000 miles, this truck has been the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned, and I had a 06 6liter. This will be the third time on the rollback. There were two other times it broke that were for low pressure fuel pumps and I was able to limp it home both times and fix it myself. So 5 breakdowns total. I think I am done with this truck. Not sure yet if I want another Diesel or just go back to the gas trucks, I guess I will get this thing fixed first and see what happens.

Sucks man. Good luck with whichever route you choose. I'd be pretty frustrated too.
I haven't had any problems yet (21K miles). However, if the V10 was still available in the F350 in a Lariat with a bed on it, I would be at the dealer today trying to trade. I had the first gen V10 (1999), then 2 diesels. I don't need the diesel power all the time, but I don't think the 6.2L has the guts to pull my 5th wheel without feeling like it was overloaded.

If I owned it, it would be in the Dealer's used truck lot too. Dependability is a key component of any vehicle in my house. Good luck shopping. Look at everything, don't limit yourself to .
