Just 1 more day of this and it's back to normal folks. Page 1 of the Canadian tire flyer has a 12' x 20' shelter w 6' high door for $329 reg 549. Page 21 has 2 shelters $500 gets you a 13' x 20' x 12' w 8'h door and $450 gets you a 12 x 20 x 8 w a 6'8"h door. The last 2 are dark in cover which will help w snow melt, just remember your bylaw.
Ah, right on. I'll have me a look at them. I'm out in the country so bylaws are no worry to me. How high is my 6.4L? I'll probably need an 8 foot door.
The 12' width also makes it easier to open your doors, 10' not so good when your vehicle is 6.5' wide. Use some 2x8x long planks to mount the frame legs to and rebar to stake it down. Mine have corkscrew anchors and I'm in a well protected wind area but I'm still going to stake down the front end in case a wind blast comes down the alley. theres an automotive spray glue thats used to hold down vynil tops, works well for laminating tarps, makes them last a lot longer. 20 x 40 tarps aren't that expensive, I'm lucky that I have lots of tarps.
Yep. Well, looking at the 14 day forecast, and it looks decent. Should be good weather for you to work under the tarps.
Although I work in an office, good weather every day, lol.
Well it is cold here in southern Alberta and hopefully it warms up next week so I can get the Christmas lights up. Still have to ref some football(just two weekends left and it is all done) and I am all done working 6&1 now I get to work my normal 4&3. Also glad my new house has a heated garage

Howdy Folks! Happy Friday! Still plugging away here at the CFL shutdown in the hat. Lookin like a couple more weeks of work till she starts to slow down for end of season. Still looking for plow mounts for an arctic. If anyone knows where I can track one down that be great
Have you looked through kijiji. Give the parts section a good look and dont be afraid of the other accessories/parts column or heavy equipment. You'd be amazed at what Ive come accross. Use your filter at the top of the page, try different labels or tags.
Keep all this cold cr@p you're sending south up on your side of the border eh!!!!
Dang - I hope it's not another one like we had last winter... We keep hoping for the global warming to set in here, meanwhile the folks in Anchorage are still playing on the beach!
Okay - said my peace... Back to your normally scheduled weekend banter...
Do your weather forecasts still refer to these weather systems as an "Alberta Clipper"? I always thought that was pretty unfair. As always, I blame Saskatchewan.

Sometimes they do...
More often than not, their called Blue Northerns or Arctic Express!
What are those weather systems called there? Saskatchewan Schooners?
Oh blame Saskatchewan. Absolutely. I can see it's all Saskatchewan's fault. There's a strong wind headed east. Saskatchewan sucks and the wind has to come from somewhere! Haha!
On a different note, where do you buy oil for your diesel truck? I wanted to put 0W-40 or 5W-40 in my 08 Power Stroke and the cheapest I can find is $42 for a 5L jug. Shell Rotella T6. I thought I got it for $35 last fall.
