Sorry to hear about the motherinlaw Puddy, have a good trip. Speaking of taxes, the accountant came by with good news, only owe $53. from last year, had some screwy paperwork and a settlement that I needed to take care of. Apparently I get $ 409 in gst between now and xmas, sweet. 1 more day of working on the truck and then I got to drop the shop and convert it into a pair of 107sq" metal framed and tarped sheds. Damned bylaws.

According to the long range forecast summer is over. Started dropping the shop, the guy who's picking up the lumber and his dad called at 830 am to tell me they weren't showing up to help, at least I got a phone call. Sure am glad I got long johns and a beard as it looks like I get winterized this week. At least I get wednesday off so that I can attend an open house event at the Sunrise Community Link. Do some volunteering there and send them my yearly donations. At this time of year I go to auctions that have large lots of xmas gifts and I'll spend $3 - 500 on giftware. Iv'e done it for years going back to when I lived in Winnipeg. The big organizations get corporate donations but these small community organizations that work directly with the people in the community usually get squat or everybodies leftovers. The girls at Sunrise are really cool and sincere in what they do which is why I help them. No politics and no biasis, they treat everyone the same, with respect. Thats why I like them.
Have a good snow day everybody and stock up on kleenex for the kiddies LOL, I like cats, no snot and no drool.

Well, it was a busy weekend.
Got back in around 3 am this morning, had a power nap, packed my work gear and out the door again.
Im now in Medicine Hat for about 2-3 weeks, least till holidays or so they say.
