Glad it's over, it may have been a short cold snap but it still had me house bound for 2 1/2 days, hard on the health for us no lungers and seniors. did my walk and brought my small shovel, knocked on a few doors to make sure everyone was okay and cleaned some sidewalks so nobody breaks their hip and met the group at A & W. The wild life of the senior class, got some bsing done had a coffee and a few laughs and made my way back to Timmies to do some more. Got things prepped so That I can get some work done tomorrow. If I get done I'll take a pic and show you how I set up the 10x10 shelter. I want these things to last more than a year or 2 and I also want to work out of them. That don't usually mix if you use them as a workshop in the winter.
Agreed, that should dry off the roads long enough for me to wash the truck before it snows again.
Have you ever met someone who seems helpful and friendly, but totally fails in any way to provide actual assistance. I found out today I work with that guy. He seems super, but I'm getting the feeling he is not. Oh well, I'm super enough for both of us, and I think I can avoid him most days and deal with other folks.
Try working in the residential construction industry in this town, seen fewer druggies, alky's and know it all's in Vancouver, less flem huckers there to.
well it is official I have received my lay off notice and I only have two more weeks of work.
That does suck.....
Budgets always run tight this time of year for most companies - even HUGE ones... Hopefully with a fresh budget for 2015 coming soon, there will be a phone call asking you back....
