Walked into the shop at noon and it was +2 and rainy, walked out for a smoke and coffee at 3.30 and there was friggin snow coming down and now I know why I was seeing my breath in the shop. Shut it down at 6.30 as I was tired of the grinder and I'm going to need some more discs anyway. Remembered after I got cleaned up that I still need to cut my fuel filler hole. Unpainted this deck wont cost anymore than $120. not bad for a solid steel deck that's mostly 1/4 steel and that will include headache rack, 1.5" rail sides and tailgate.
Damn snow had better dissappear soon or I'll tiger torch it. That should get the neighbours awareness button lit.
This being retired is getting to be a real pita, I'm still working 7 days a week. At least now I'm really working for myself just wish it was'nt 5 to 7 hours a day of grinding, welding and getting dirty. I did ground thaw for utilities the first couple of winters that I was here, sure sparked a lot of coal. If I dug out the torches my neighbours would think I went mad and I'd be arrested or commited, then again they might think it was normal for me to be walking around with a flame thrower.
Hey guys, it's been quite the weekend.
Haven't been too active this weekend, spent most of it trying to get off nightshift mode.
Also my Mother-in-law has passed away.
Found out early in the AM. Been running around trying to Organize things and Send my Wife home ASAP. Dropped her at the Airport tonight.
She passed peacefully in her Sleep.
