Dressed the kids up at 7:00 AM this morning. That's about as much Halloween spirit as I can muster.

Walked into the shop at noon and it was +2 and rainy, walked out for a smoke and coffee at 3.30 and there was friggin snow coming down and now I know why I was seeing my breath in the shop. Shut it down at 6.30 as I was tired of the grinder and I'm going to need some more discs anyway. Remembered after I got cleaned up that I still need to cut my fuel filler hole. Unpainted this deck wont cost anymore than $120. not bad for a solid steel deck that's mostly 1/4 steel and that will include headache rack, 1.5" rail sides and tailgate.

Damn snow had better dissappear soon or I'll tiger torch it. That should get the neighbours awareness button lit.

I use a tiger torch for melting ice off my sidewalks. It's very therapeutic.

This being retired is getting to be a real pita, I'm still working 7 days a week. At least now I'm really working for myself just wish it was'nt 5 to 7 hours a day of grinding, welding and getting dirty. I did ground thaw for utilities the first couple of winters that I was here, sure sparked a lot of coal. If I dug out the torches my neighbours would think I went mad and I'd be arrested or commited, then again they might think it was normal for me to be walking around with a flame thrower.

Hey guys, it's been quite the weekend.
Haven't been too active this weekend, spent most of it trying to get off nightshift mode.

Also my Mother-in-law has passed away.
Found out early in the AM. Been running around trying to Organize things and Send my Wife home ASAP. Dropped her at the Airport tonight.
She passed peacefully in her Sleep.

First sorry to hear about your mother in law puddy.
And second Halloween was an awesome time in my neck of the woods nice and warm then went to a party was a good time all together.
Saturday was the turn around day bad weather and when the evening came around I had to ref football in the snow.
Sunday drove to work and managed to get back to Sask. with no misshaps even driving through a snow storm of sorts.
But the good thing is a buddy did my front brakes for me now just have to figure out what is loose now and needs to be replaced.
And today I get my new rims and tires will get them on my truck this weekend coming with pics to follow.
