Another beautiful short sleeve weather day here in BC. Sure hope mother nature isn't going to say here is the payback.

Did any of you Edmonton area folks get in on the cheap fuel at Shell the other day?

Would have cost me more in missed time from work the. I would have saved and I don't think diesel was included.
If you posted a pic in the last post I don't see it on the mobile app. I very rarely use my computer

I had edited some of my pics to delete some that were duplicated and that relocated some of my pics as to which page they were on. Apparently that can trigger the "the pic has moved or been deleted" message that somtimes shows up. I guess you have to wait an hour or 2 before you download pics from photobucket if you've been editing them.

According to long range forcast on my MSN home page, weve got another week of this weather. I just might get both of my flat decks done by the end of the month if the weather holds.

Yeah I'm hoping it holds out long enough for me to replace the motor in my lawn tractor/snowblower

I picked a little electric snow shovel last year, 18" w with plastic paddles that throws the snow forwards. Goofy as hell, but I got it a couple of days before that first dump we got last year. Sure saved my azz as my shoveler moved and the guy upstairs is 74. The neighbours are seniors so I do thiers same time as mine, works out real good that way. Theres only 10 feet between the houses so I blow the whole thing out all the way to the street. Postie likes me and theres no melt ice on the sidewalks. When I do the back, lots of snow winds up in my ahole neighbours yard by his windows. The guy who lives above him likes it as it bugs the troll in the basement.
Troll doesnt know it yet but he gets evicted in January as it's the worst month of the year to move.

Got used to using a bobcat to push the snow. Between the driveway, common area, coal bin and the roundabout it took a friggen hour to do it all. Glad I had auto attach so that I could switch buckets when ever a coal customer showed up. Used to do ground thaw during freeze up, brrrrr.

What I like about winter here is that it only gets cold for a week then a chinook comes and it's warm for a week. In Manitoba we would get that blizzard the first week of november and didn't see warmth again till mid march at the earliest. Have a snorkle that I stick down the front of my coat and run a modified o2 line through. It allows me to go outside without fear of catching pnuemonia or freezing my o2 line and it's close enough to my mouth that it activates my E.P.O.D when I breathe. No more getting shut in when it hits minus 15.

Just got back from a four day trip to SoCal. Was warm down there boys. Rented a little apartment that didn't have AC, that made for some sleepless nights, but we survived. Was 92F at the airport when we were flying out today.
Now I'm ready for some cooler weather.

I'm a bit stubborn, and I won't post in that "other" thread . . .
Anyway, Last day at my current job today. Two weeks of and starting a whole different thing in November. Wish me luck!
