Hey congrats! Not gonna lie, I feel like I should look for a new job as well. I've been staring up at my glass ceiling for years.

Sure wish that I could go back to work, but in the shape I'm in I wouldn't hire me. Good luck with the career change, hope it does you well.

Yeah, my situation is somewhat unique I suppose. my "current" position dissapeared. I was given a small demotion. Then some guys I know opffered me a decent promotion if I jumped ship. seemed like a good deal. ask me again in a year . . . .

As long as your staying in the same trade you should be safe. My best years were preceede with 6 months of hard work, my bad years were preceeded by taking it easy for 6 months. Food for thought. Good luck play safe.

First i would like to say that for someone else that moved from Manitoba I totally understand about the weather, but I live south of Calgary and we have even milder winters.
Second congrats on the new job seventyseven250 and hope it works out for you starting a new job can be scary.

Last night there were 2 mosquitos that came into the house and neither cat has it's winter coat starting. Dont like the mosquitos, cats can stay the way they are. Sally goes from a medium hair to a long hair, real pita in the spring.

Morning Alberta folks.

We no longer have cats. Still have a couple of dogs though. My rottie was just diagnosed with diabetes.
