Jon, I don't know whatshippingwould be, but you might want to check with these folks here :: Manual Transmissions, Differentials, Transfer Cases | ZBAG A few years back they got a few hundred (as I recall) entire T-Bird IRS assemblies - all brand new including subframe, control arms, springs, axles, differential, brakes, etc... They were letting them go dirt cheap for a few hundred bucks. They may still have some around. Might be worth a call...
Make sure that idea is fully cooked there Puddy or someone might tell you it's half baked. I noticed that you have body mount rubbers on that frame and I'm curious as to which models of truck has those. I'm going unibody with my F350 custom cab and need something to take care of the vibration from the frame to the box. Only a 4 day cold snap this time, cats are using it to destroy the house. Amazing how 1 can be at the 3' level while the other 1 is at ground level. Low life next door is moving out this month no more trash on my street, just peaceful friendly nieghbours, finally. Got my shelters up in time and now I'm insulating them and installing a second skin on the roof, putting in lights and installing a pass thru door joining the shelters. This working at home sure kicks azz, now I know why my brother does it.
Thanx for the link Puddy, Looks like he's doing it right, like his use of rebar for a straight edge/ alignment marker.
Last of the cold days I hear, about time as I want to get my shelter insulated and roof reinforced plus lights installed.
Going to put the snow thrower to use today to get rid of the snow between the walkways, eliminates icy walkways during the warmup. Kitties sure are a pita during this weather, they won't go out but they like sitting in their doorway.
