Scored a wiper **** off a Bronco today at the local pick a part. Was the only one I could find in the entire yard. Wiper ***** seem to be a rarity for some reason.
Pulled the cowl panel off last night and cleaned the untold years of pine needles and dirt out of the fender wells. Didn't find any rust which is a good thing. Scored a proper grill from the local pick a part today along with a good kick panel and ignition switch too.
Yep. Rusty is, well, rusty. But he's got a heart of gold. I rebuilt the engine, the tranny is strong, the t-case is as well, all u-joints have been replaced, and the rear diff has been rebuilt. So, I really understand what you said.
SCORE! Found an '84 tailgate today with all the hardware at the pick a part. I also found a good spare wheel which I literally stumbled over while hauling the tailgate back to the truck. Also picked up two newer gas fillers with the big tube in them to replace my old ones with the smaller tube and missing tube.
Since I reset the timing the truck idles LOW when in drive too. I can't even hear the exhaust when I'm slowing down for a stop light or sign. I thought the truck died several times today while going to the pick a part but the idle was just way low.
Got the filler tubes installed. The rear one fit perfectly. The front one doesn't have the right angle for the dually fender (if it were there) but works for now. Now for screw in gas caps...

Does anyone know where this big *** wheel is supposed to go when being stored?? Under the truck somewhere maybe??
My DRW F350 has an under bed spare carrier. I assume it is factory installed.
