Me and the wife jumped in the truck and went down to the gas station and added 10 gal to the front tank, got the gauge up just over 1/2 full. Took a little drive around to test the brakes and the rears still need some adjustment. Got a couple of minor water leaks but nothing major leaking on the truck now! Gettin' there.....
Took the sawzall to the left rear fender and cleaned it up a bit too. Lots of zip ties holding up the filler neck for now 'til I find a replacement fender.
They wont bolt on without it? Ive beenaaround alot of duallies from a 56 ford to 13 dodge and the only spacers ive seen were between wheels for big tires not to rub. Kinda wonder if its been converted to a dually or had the rearend swapped.

The studs are different sizes. Might be adapters but someone else more knowledgeable than me might know.
Pulled all the plugs today and they all looked nice and even except for #7 which was a bit lighter than the rest. All the gaps were about .043-.045 inch with a couple at .038 which I fixed. Checking the timing and balancer marks next and pullling the carb to clean and fix the accel pump leak.
Changed out the accelerator pump diaphragm for one that didn't leak. Carb back on the truck. Checked the timing and found it WAY off, was almost 40 degrees BTDC at idle with no vacuum at distributor. Probably why truck was a bit hard to start and stalled at stops when hot. Reset timing to 10 BTDC and she liked that a lot better.
