Fastback460 how do you like those lights you mounted in your bumper? Do they seem to work ok in there like that?
They are Hella 550's and I won't drive at night without them.
Even though they are set back inside the bumper a little, they still do a great job of lighting up the edges of the road.

I live outside of town and I sure miss having the extra light I got from the LED bar I had on my bronco. My 250 is to clean to cut up so I'd like to find a clean way to add some extra light and have looked into putting them in the bumper like that. I don't really like the look of just a light bar mounted to the cab. I also thought about just building a roof rack then put some light up there.
Thanks for the info.

nnnoooo... lol All my projects have been on hold as I have a 4 month old little girl. It's on the top of list though. I also need to decide if I want to run true duals or two into one. I also have about $150 of steel squar stock that I bought to build some rock slide side steps.
That isn't even a fair question! Both killer!
(But I still think that bully of a truck, your 97, is just too cool.)
That bumper was made for the "Turtle expedition IV" vehicles. They traveled around the world. Only a handful were made and my buddy found it at a local junk yard, got it, blew up his truck engine, put it onto an international harvester truck, took it off and put it in storage for 4 years, and gave it to me. It has tool boxes built in. I have jumper cables and winch stuff in them.
